La Casa Del Buen Gusto — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I ordered a small rice n beans to go. This lady had the audacity to ring me up with the total being $10.60!!!! The container was ridiculously small, and the lady literally put 1 1/2 scoops of rice in this flimsy little container(which probably cost them about 3 cents worth of rice for the "serving" they gave me) Once they told me how much they wanted for this I actually laughed out loud and asked them repeatedly if they were serious, because $10+ dollars for rice, a couple beans and NO MEAT is the funniest most disrespectful thing I had heard in a while. Finally the owner comes out from the back and I ask her if that was really the price, cuz if so they all crazy. She said, Oh, meat? $5. I said you can keep your dried out scoop of rice. They are the biggest rip off in the area. Wish I could give them zero stars. Don't waste your time or money...

I don't know about the rest of the people who are giving reviews on here but I keep getting asked to review places that I've never visited much less heard of. I'm giving this place 3 stars just to be fair because I only wanted to let people know the problem I'm having now. I suspect that they are just trying to get people to visit this app and have fresh information and I further suspect that some people are getting the same thing but giving a review anyway to make themselves look well travelled or popular. The food here is not fresh at all everything looks and tastes rotted or dried out from being reheated So many times. They don’t care what they serve you either. It looks like they cook maybe every two weeks and just reheat the food until it’s spoiled. I wouldn’t be surprised if you found parasites in the food.
