I usually try not to speak poorly about businesses but this one took me out. It’s hard enough to find a valid Sicilian pizza in Philly so after doing extensive searches, Little Sicily seemed like a good choice. I called them Sunday, March 2nd at 6:30pm for 1 Sicilian pizza, 1/2 pepperoni. The call taker said it’d be about $24. Cooh. I said “how long?” He said, “45-55min.” Cooh. 45 min came and went. 55 min came and went. I called back at 7:40. Answer: “Little Sicily Pizza. We’re closed.” I’m like hey. I ordered a pizza over an hour ago. “Oh we’re still waiting on our delivery driver.” I’m like wtf. He says it should be about 20 more min. So I’m more agitated. Finally. Around 8:00 I get a call from someone sounding mad disoriented. I thought it was the delivery. Go outside. Nobody’s there. I wait a few minutes. Call back. He says the wrong address. I told him where I lived. He shows up 10min later on a moped with a luke warm pizza. He hardly understood I was asking for change when I gave him money. I felt back because he appeared to be driving around in the cold. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. And the pizza was basura. Very few pieces of pepperoni. The dough was crunchy at the bottom, not soft and thick like a...
Read moreGot a flier in my door a couple weeks ago and decided to try here.
To begin, either my boyfriend or Grubhub changed my order from delivery to pick-up; We didn't realized until after the pickup time had passed, he called the store, and they switched it to delivery without hassle. It took just over an hour from the time he called for it be delivered. The fact that they switched it without hassle is the only reason they have 2 stars and not 1.
We got a large cheese pizza, a large Sicilian pizza, fries, and a soda. Both pizzas were super greasy. I didn't like the Sicilian pizza crust, I found it to be real bready, like a deep dish pizza, which I don't like. In terms of sauce and cheese, both were alright. I normally order pizza with light sauce, but not this time, and I was alright with the amount of sauce on them, it wasn't excessive. Sauce did not have a lot of seasoning, mostly tasted like tomato sauce. The fries were all soggy, super soggy. My boyfriend ate about ten before they went in the bin.
Grubhub gave several options for soda for this place. I selected 'Coke.' Delivery man showed up with a Pepsi. Delivery driver said Pepsi only. Well, I don't drink Pepsi and boyfriend doesn't drink soda, so the 2-liter...
Read moreThis place had delicious cheesesteaks that didn’t disappoint. I was coming down here from jersey to drop some items off to someone who actually recommended this place to me since me and my father were looking for good cheesesteaks while my dad wanted to go to the more touristy ones, the guy actually recommended this spot which was a hole in the wall. When we walked in, it was busy and that was a clear indication that this place was gonna be delicious, so as we are looking at their very expansive menu we decide to order the cheesesteak for $9.99, while for one it was a bit pricy, it was worth the price because when I took my first bite into it, the bread was fresh, there was a perfect balance between cheese and meat and the onions were fresh. After eating we talked to the employees which are really hardworking and hospitable and welcoming into the store. I really liked how they would appeal to all of the communities with their menu items. If you are looking for a quick bite or are just stopping by, I highly recommend to check...
