Edit: 11/26/2023 Came here for the duck (of course), but on a whim, The Missus (bless 'er) decided to order a pound and a half of the BBQ ribs that were hanging in the window. Why, oh Lord, why had we not ordered these flavorful meat bombs before? An omission we will not make again. Highly recommended.

This is our go-to for to-go roast duck and ribs. No nonsense, no frills, just chop up the bird, pop it into the container and away we go! The Missus (bless 'er) and I cannot wait until we sit at one of the three tables they have and try as many items as we can manage from their menu. There are other roast duck restaurants, but they never seem to sell out. M Kee does, so get there early and get your bird! Four stars for the flavors! It was a cold night and I was underdressed. I craved for a hearty plate of scallion chicken over steaming white rice, reminiscent of my many childhood meals in Mongkok. As I walked down Race Street, I watched the full moon, conscious of the impending eclipse. I turned on 10th Street, greeted by M Kee's neon sign and roast ducks hanging dutifully in the window and all of a sudden, memories of Nainai's home cooked meals came flooding back to me like a ladle of warm broth and simmering wontons. Just before I was completely lost in sentiment, I was greeted by the always gracious Mr. Lam, who escorted to a table with a pot of freshly brewed black tea. One glance at the menu was enough - soon a plate of scallion chicken appeared before my eyes. After just a bite, I blinked twice to make sure that I hadn't...

Horrible food and service. We were the only ones seated in the place and still had horrible service. Gave us hot water with no ice and even refilled without it. I asked twice. After we finally leave, the waitress had the AUDACITY to say, and I quote, "excuse me you forgot to tip?" Now I had her repeat to make sure I heard correctly...sure did. Here's the thing...I had her tip in my hand to give to her personally, even though the service was TRASH. She just didn't see it I guess. She felt stupid and the look on her face was priceless when I showed her the tip in my hand. This was the salt on my wound. Never will be back NEVER will recommend.
