September 2022 update Still excellent! Desserts are amazing! ALL homemade and delicious. Wine bottles are very reasonable. Food is great. Yum. September, 2021 update Still a great little spot. We had dinner outside and it was perfect. The service was excellent. They really took good care of us and made sure we were happy. I added some new photos. The antipasto is a great start to the dinner. It was enough for the 4 of us along with their fresh, hot focaccia bread. Everything came out hot and fresh and we had no complaints. The glasses of wine were filled to the brim. Huge pours for all! ------ Such a great neighborhood place. Reasonable wine and cocktail prices. Staff is very attentive. Antipasto rustico is amazing and we also had the meatball Parmesan pizza as an appetizer and it was yum!!

I came here twice this week to pick up food for my Ma. Pasta and clams were good enough to eat but the strawberry shortcake apparently didn’t even taste like strawberry shortcake and the icing tasted cheap and overwhelming. Today got a lasagna and it’s terrible… there is hardly any meat inside of it, it’s mostly sad soggy noodles, disgusting. It’s swimming in a pasta sauce, tastes like pizza cheese and pizza sauce, very cheap. Each meal is roughly around 20 dollars and i feel like they’re robbing us. Guys it’s so bad that it makes Stouffer’s Lasagna with Meat seem like authentic Italian, know what I even think Olive Garden is better! My Ma couldn’t even finish it so basically it’s going in the trash, it’s that bad.

After seeing "Green Book" on a Sunday afternoon, our taste for Italian cuisine was heightened. We stopped at Maria's and was not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by staff and seated immediately. In the dining room there was an energetic birthday party for a family matriarch with 40 wellwishers and a musician. Very entertaining. The drinks were great and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our food. The eggplant appetizer was well prepared and very tasty. The size was appropriate as an entree for my wife. I enjoyed the clams and linguini with plenty of fresh clams in a delicious and garlicky broth. Our server, Leah, was very attentive and friendly. We will return.

Maria's is a charming haven for those seeking authentic Italian flavors amidst a warm, home-like atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with genuine smiles and hearty welcomes, making you feel like family from the start.

The staff at Maria's exemplifies hospitality. Their friendliness and genuine interest in ensuring your dining experience is memorable truly set them apart. Our waitress went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated.

Speaking of ambiance, Maria's radiates a cozy, inviting atmosphere reminiscent of dining in a beloved Italian grandmother's kitchen. The soft lighting and comforting aroma of freshly baked bread evoke a sense of nostalgia and comfort, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed meal with loved ones.

Now, let's talk about value. Despite the exquisite quality of the cuisine and the exceptional service, Maria's remains surprisingly affordable. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied without breaking the bank. From mouthwatering pasta dishes and fresh pizza to decadent desserts, every bite is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to providing exceptional value without compromising on taste or quality.

In conclusion, Maria's is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that nourishes both body and soul. Whether you're craving classic Italian comfort food or simply seeking a welcoming retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, Maria's delivers on all fronts. With its friendly staff, home-like atmosphere, and unbeatable value, it's no wonder why my family and I keep going back time...

I spotted this place a few years ago driving by and it took my until early 2023 to finally stop in on a Saturday night. We (two adults, two kids) were welcomed graciously and were seated immediately. The restaurant is quite average inside, no special ambiance and the room was quite loud. The waitress mentioned the kitchen was coming off the night’s peak ordering time and it would take a little longer to get the food on the table so we ordered an appetizer. That took 25 minutes to come, and dinner showed up after a good hour passed by. No one asked if we would like drinks refilled, checked if we wanted to get more bread since the wait was so long, etc. even though the dining room was almost empty by the time food was ready. None of the meals had real flavor (salmon, burger, pizza, panini) and some of them needed to be reheated. Prices were quite reasonable and everyone was kind to us. There was more than one billing error on our check. Bottom line, there are too many great dining spots in our city to come back for an experience like this. I think Maria’s owes its success to the fact that there is nothing literally like this between downtown Conshy and Main St in Manayunk so it’s just a combination of convenient&not...

A perfect example of what you get when people take no pride in their work and dont care about their jobs. Food is fine, but I cant ever get any of it! Most of the time when I order I get something that is not what I ordered, or just food cooked to sub par standards (think mushy fried foods that fall apart when you pick them up, but are supposed to be crispy). Its like the people who work here do not eat this food or something. I thought it was just a communication error sometimes, so I started ordering online so I could type what I wanted, no better. Things are still all screwed up, but its clearly their kitchen. This place also takes as much time to cook food as other places take to cook and deliver it. If they deliver something wrong to you, you wont be eating for over an hour and a half after you place your order. Someone tell the owner! Inconsistent food I have had to throw away more than once has stopped me from ever ordering from here again. For a long time I just stopped ordering things they have no consistency with and tried sticking to basic simple things. In the past week I have thrown out two meals I picked up to eat later in the day. NEVER AGAIN WILL THESE JOKERS...
