I like to try new places, so when I read about Merzbacherâs I ordered a Malty Bread, French Toast bread, wheat and everything Philly muffins. I was hungry so took a piece of Malty bread and ate it in my car. It was dry. The everything philly muffins are VG and wheat had too much of a sourdough taste to me. Maybe Merzbacherâs should use a white whole wheat flour?

Great connections using public transportation buses: 2, 23, 53, 75 within one block. All regional rail lines except the Norristown Line, will stop at Wayne Junction Station just across the street.
Great selections in bread products. Some items maybe seasonal. Not able to come into and buy or sit down. You can also find Merzbacher's in Rittenhouse Square, Center City Philadelphia (The Downtown) they always have a stand.
