New Azaad Foods — Restaurant in Philadelphia

The place was trash! Dirty tables, unwanted, very racist owners. If you Google there restaurant, you will see a picture of them. Made you feel so uncomfortable and unwanted. I’m hispanic and love to experience different cultures, as different people experience mine. If I did not have close Indian friends, I truly would’ve got a wrong impression of Indian folks.. Went there to have biriyani. It was more of a "khichri" than biriyani. They should change the name from biriyani to something else because the name is deceiving. They didn't even have good plates to serve the food on. Loud panjabi song was on the tv, so the sitting environment was not enjoyable or peaceful either. Not enough employees working as the time it took to serve the "khichri" was way too long.

We also had lassi, and the lassi was good. If anyone wants to have lassi, I'd recommend this place. But...

Hands down my favorite spot in SF. I always come back! I really try to explore the menu and order different things each time. I am so impressed. The service is amazing and their food is well prepared and delicious. It is truly the most authentic and I love how they aren't afraid to uses spices. Drinks are just right and the music is not as loud as it used to be.
