This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered in any Brazilian steakhouse. Let’s begin with the sanitation part. Multiple leaks throughout the dinner floor with multiple buckets catching falling water from the ceiling around tables full of guest and around the salad bar. 2.waitress cleaning tables with windex is not sanitary for the pandemic. The service was beyond selfish. We was seated by a young man who walked us over to a table and said there and walked away. He put up directly in front of a leak from the roof and my wife looks at me and say let’s leave. I convinced her let’s switch tables and stay but she wasnt thrilled. The gentleman who seated us didn’t say anything just walks away. We waited 15 minutes at a table no one ever stopped by. I finally got up and asked the young man can we get service and drinks. He brought me two cokes like I asked and from there I never seen a waitress or did any one check on us. I had to get up and ask the young man for a refill on a soda. The whole restaurant was filled and did not comply with the six feet away per government officials. I don’t know how this place is operating and getting over 4 star ratings. If the city was to come in the place would be closed for sure. Let’s not mention that they only had one guy walking around the whole restaurant trying to serve everyone who was getting the meat experience. We also was brought the same piece of steak three times in a row by the one gentleman who was cutting the steaks for the whole restaurant. We only encounter one piece of steak. Salad bar was good and fresh. This place definitely needs renovation and a much improved staff overall. No one is friendly their. It seems in my opinion it’s a big family running a restaurant with no management. I’ll definitely be calling the city on the next weekday because what I encounter today was not fair. Let’s not mention that I was accidentally charged two extra drinks.. I won’t be returning here, forgo de choa is the place to go for a Brazilian steakhouse experience and for almost $100 I paid here forgo de chao would be almost the same but a 5 star experience. Hope this place really takes these type of reviews seriously. This ain’t a made up review. I’m a hard worker who pays the top dollar for a fair and this was a in my opinion a scam on Valentine’s Day and my wife’s birthday. I also wanted to mention I looked up towards the roof where I seen leaking water or rain water and the cieling is visibly damaged and opened. Like what if rain water falls into someone food while walking by. This is so embarrassing for me that my wife had to witness this on her birthday and...
Read moreI’ve been a proud and loyal customer of Picanha Restaurant since 2015, and after nearly a decade of dining here three to four times a week, I can honestly say—this place is like home. From the very first visit to today, the experience has always been consistent: delicious food, fair prices, and the kind of hospitality you rarely find anywhere else.
Two people who make this experience so exceptional are William and Johan. Their service is absolutely top-tier—always attentive, always kind, and always ready to go the extra mile. Over the years, they’ve come to know me, my family, and now even my daughter. Every single time I come in with her, they treat us with such warmth and care—making sure we’re seated quickly, that she has a high chair ready, and that we’re both comfortable and taken care of.
What really amazes me is the personal attention: the moment I walk through the door, they already know what type of meat I like, and they make sure it’s freshly cooked, perfectly sliced, and ready just for me. They don’t just serve food—they craft a whole experience centered around comfort and satisfaction. Whether I need a refill, a different table, or just a quick moment of help, they’re already there before I even have to ask.
Also, I have to give a huge shoutout to the amazing guys at the meat counter. They are fast, efficient, and incredibly skilled. Not only do they prepare the meat exactly how I like it, but they also remember my family’s preferences and always have it ready at just the right temperature and cut. Their consistency and speed are unmatched, and their service makes every visit smooth and enjoyable.
The food itself is consistently incredible—well-seasoned, cooked to perfection, and always fresh. The pay-by-the-pound system is very fair, especially for the quality and variety offered. From savory meats to flavorful sides, everything is just spot on.
But the magic of Picanha goes far beyond the food. William and Johan make it feel like you’re not even at a restaurant—you feel like you’re at home, sitting with family. They’ve seen me through many seasons of life, welcomed my loved ones, and made every visit truly special. The kind of hospitality they offer is rare, genuine, and something I’ll always be grateful for.
If you’re looking for a place where the food is excellent and the people make you feel valued, respected, and cared for—this is the place. I will continue to recommend Picanha to everyone I know, and I look forward to many more meals, laughs, and...
Read moreI will never go there again! Go to Fogo de Chao or Chimas instead. You will pay about the same price and get better food and a way better atmosphere.
This place however is definitely overpriced. When we first walked in the door we were completely underwhelmed. The chairs and table could really use some TLC. There are no comfy booths. The food at the food bar was unlabeled with half of the bar being things that you basically had to guess what was in it. It also left a lot to be desired. Having been to several Brazilian rodigio restaurants over the years you come to expect certain foods as a staple to be there that simply just wasn't. We were not impressed by the food bar. The website also says that they have a bar that serves beer, cocktails, etc which simply wasn't true at all. The meat was just OK. Some were decent most were too salty and tough, and they all tasted the same. The place was swarming with flies and we had to put a lot of effort into fighting them off to keep them away from our food and our faces. When one of the customers had a birthday, the restaurant blasted a happy birthday song at extremely high volume that hurt the ears of everyone in the building, most of all, the group of elderly people who were unfortunate enough to be sitting right next to the speaker when this happened. The staff could see how distressed they were but did not bother to turn down the volume.
One of the few good things we had to say about the place was the fresh pineapple juice which was delicious, but even this experience was ruined because even though the servers kept coming to the table to give us refills, they did not tell us until we went to pay the check that the refills were not free. They were nearly $6 each and we had had six of them between the two of us.
We will not be returning or recommending this...
