Came to Tío Pepe to celebrate our anniversary. I love their trilingual service(English, Spanish and Portuguese). The ambience is just adorable, makes you feel you're actually in Portugal with their beautiful lampposts on the middle of the room, it's kind of romantic if you go on a date like we did, but it's also so family friendly as well. Now let's talk food. I ordered grilled salmon with tostones (double fried green plantains) and salad. Salmon was grilled to perfection and moist, tostones were fresh and super crunchy. My husband got a humongous size T-bone steak with steamed vegetables. Steak was juicy, with the right amount of fat and super tender. My husband had the expresso coffee with milk, he stated it was heavenly and tasted even better than Starbucks (he loves Starbucks) The restaurant does encourage their customers to make a reservation ahead of time to avoid agglomeration. Tío Pepe keep up the...

Came in to check out the place and food. Got good service but I can say less for the food. Even though in the pictures looked good, the taste wasn’t that great. The appetizer was definitely frozen and not fresh shrimp and over cooked. As for the Paella , the rice was too salty, the mussels and shrimp and the scallops again were over cooked as for the lobster ( for those that do t know, if you see green inside, don’t eat that! It has been cooked prior and warmed up in hot water(cooked again), that’s how you get food poisoning. I had that in the lobster but I removed it before I could eat what ever was left from that lobster. The meat in that dish was not even seasoned, just salté and that was it. No glamour besides salty . The staff was nice and caring but the food was just not to Portuguese standards that usually is held up to. I won’t be taking any friends or family here, waste of my...

I have been here many times, introduced many friends to it as well. The only thing that makes me come back is the food!!! I can not stress enough how bad the customer service is here. The host and servers decided that it was appropriate to comment on the fact and made a big fuss over the fact that i asked tochange my entre because my salmon had absolutely no flavor. My first time ordering salmon here. We caught every look they gave and the attitude the manager gave when he noticed the salmon being sent back. So because they did not know how to properly serve us and make us feel comfortable . My guest turned two me and said can we please never come here again. today you lost two customers and i will inform my friends that i referred here...

this is the 3rd time that we have problems with our order. 1st time they forgot 1 lunch, the 2nd time it was the wrong order, and today Erika did not let us check the order because they had already checked it twice, when we start unpacked there were 2 orders of rice missing, and ribs were overcooked almost burn, the potatoes were burned as well. We called make the complaint and Erika said that the didn't have anyone to bring what was missing. We requested a reimbursement and they said that we can go and pick up $4.00 dollars tomorrow at 12pm with the manager. what a disappointment :( Make sure that when you order something from there to check everything yourself.....
