Overbrook Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Despicable service. Im embarrassed for them. Ordered 2 pies for my guys working on our job at 12:50 at 1:55 I called and had an obnoxious conversation with a woman who basically in so many words told me oh well that the pizza is late. I was not yelling. I just stated owning a business I dont give excuses to my customers. That they didnt even say it would take an hour. She said well 45 min. We are talking now over an hour here. Then I called back by 2:02 Another woman answered so I told her my concerns, asking would it be still hot. At 2:05 a arrogant man rolls up starting yelling at me that im complaining too much and I'm still on the phone with her...however he didnt even get out and bring me my pizza so idk what that was about. I ended up telling him to gtfo of here. Very rude. I run a 5 star business never speak to people like that. Im sure their food is good as I heard but customer service is atrocious. The food at Overbrook is pretty good, but the accuracy of my order is always inconsistent.

One thing that is consistent, it the unprofessionalism of the person taking the orders. I can only assume this man to be the owner because he fearlessly makes jokes about any alternations request while I order. Any exclusions (due to my vegetarianism) are met with smart remarks like “Well what kind of _ is that” or “You shouldn’t have ordered that at all”. He laughs as if it were a joke but it’s simply offensive.

When I called to get my correct order, he became defensive, raising his voice, stating he prepared my food and packed the bag himself. As he didn’t allow me to get in a word, he finished by saying he won’t argue when he knows nothing has changed since they opened.

I am done with Overbrook Pizza. You, however, may be able to overlook the owner’s disrespectful humor and narcissism and enjoy your meal EXACTLY how it is...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are very rude and nasty there. Today. I asked one of the workers if he could just give me a roll that was not toasted and he started being really nasty with me and staying that he’s not going to do that. He told me “this was not the place for me because they toast their bread”. I said you rather lose a whole order rather than just give me two untoasted rolls. He stopped speaking to me then started talking to another customer. I told him that he’s being extremely rude to me and he started to raise his voice. I informed him that he’s being irate and he needs to speak to me as calmly as I’m speaking to him. He told me again this store isn’t for me. I was very confused because not only did I order a plain steak and a plain steak but I ordered a large cheese pizza and fries.
