Saw this place featured on instagram and went ASAP- the panzarotti looked unreal. Accurate. The dough was so crispy, salty and delicious. Pure magic. Can’t wait to go back and try a sandwich. The design and vibe was also impeccably cool.

Edit: went back less than a week later to try breakfast panzarotti, bacon egg and cheese sandwich and I was dying to try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bombolini. The CTC bombolini was sold out 40 minutes after they opened after a snow storm so you KNOW that ish was good.

I snagged one of the last strawberry bombolini and it was soooo special. Kinda like a cronut? The strawberry frosting tasted like little kid cereal strawberry flavor in the best way.

It’s hard to decide whether the egg panzarotti or the BEC was better but damn they were both crazy good. The BEC is basically the perfect classic breakfast sandwich and of course the panzarotti crust is witchcraft.

Lastly the house made hot sauce IS SO FREAKIN GOOD.

Love this place and the staff are so lovely and have that sense of pride to be serving such amazing food that is...

While the food was very good and the atmosphere was awesome, was very disappointed in the service.

Made a reservation a month out for 6 people, found out a week before that 2 people couldn’t make it so I called the restaurant multiple times days in advance and left vmails telling them this and to make sure this was okay. Received no call backs and when we arrived for the dinner we told them and they said nothing about it being an issue until we received the bill and they told us we were being charged $80 a person for the no shows. I told them we left vmails multiple days in advance and thier response was their vmail doesn’t work and they are sorry but still couldn’t forgive the charge. They also didn’t say anything about being charged $85 right up front.

Pretty unacceptable practices to not have a working phone to handle changes to reservations in my opinion and ruined what was a good night.

Would have come back multiple times if they just did the right thing to forgive the charges for their own failures in being able to handle reservations changes...

I’ve been ogling Paffuto for some time, and finally got my mitts on their menu! Where to start?

The panzerotti is like a miniature, deep-fried calzone that oozes with bubbly, nutty cheese when you crack it open. So flavorful, and definitely a menu must-have

The bomboloni I didn’t get to try (ran out of real estate - pregnant haha), but my pal said it was so perfectly pillowy and rich from the Nutella. We trust her tastebuds. A+ lunch dessert

I was curious about the mushroom-pesto sandwich, so I ordered that too. It was basically a vehicle for house-made stracchiatella and perfectly sautéed oyster mushrooms. And wherever they source their bread from… keep sourcin’

While it’s unlikely you’re in the market for veggies when you go to a place like Paffuto’s, the real underdog was the broccoli Caesar. The charred broccoli was perfectly tender and complimented by raw red onion, arugula, croutons, and what I assume is an also house-made Caesar

And special shout out to their staff that day. Excellent customer service!! We love...

Paffuto just became my new favorite hidden gem in Philly! I had such a great experience. I got a turkey sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a chocolate maritozzi. Turkey sausage is usually dry, but this was the juiciest turkey sausage I’ve ever had. The eggs were fluffy and the seeded roll was fresh and delicious. It’s my new favorite breakfast sandwich in Philly. The chocolate maritozzi was light and whipped, not overly sweet. It’s easy to indulge in. The staff were also so nice and helpful. The interior is quaint but cozy, with nice background music playing. I worked out of here for an hour or so and found it relaxing. I definitely want to come back and try a panzerotti and one of their dinner tasting menus!
