Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Philadelphia

First in for most, I do not do social media at all !!! But I had to comment on my experience at this Popeyes location. This is the worst Popeyes I have ever been to in my life !! I’ve been there two times and each time it was a disaster. The first time I went they wanted to charge me $7.49 for a two piece dark, just the chicken…..no biscuit,no side, no drink, just the 2 peices of chicken. The second time I went, I decided to do a mobile order.instead. Unfortunately I had to wait at work for my relief to arrive. I placed the order and paid for it at 4:33 pm. However I wasn’t able to pick up my food until 9:47 pm. When I finally arrived I was told that my order was not able to be located. After showing the manager the order and receipt, he had the audacity to tell me that I place that order for hours ago and there was nothing he can do. I showed him that the order was paid for so the right thing to do is to either refund me my money that was taking off my account or make my food . So he told me that it wasn’t fair that he had to do that because I ordered it for hours ago . I am formed him that I was aware of when I ordered the food but maybe if they put their phone on the hook or answer it when it rings then I could’ve explained to him I would be extremely late picking up that order. Well after going back-and-forth with him and him realizing I wasn’t leaving empty-handed he made my order which was horrible that I ended up throwing it in the trash. Never had I ever had a problem like this ! believe me this place is great fast pace and great workers until last night. I ordered on the ( Popeyes App ) not DoorDash. I did it before and it was great and everything was quick and easy. Came to get my food by the time it said it’ll be done by 10:00 pm. And they close in 30 mins. Door was locked but window pick up was open. Told my number and showed my order. They said it’s not here?? Repeated the address and still says it’s not here but they had the next number to mines. Weird right ?? So I’m like okay so who came and got it ? They gonna say a DoorDash person and it was a girl like me ?? , until they started speaking in their language and laughing. So unprofessional. I even told them if you think I’m lying then I’ll pay again for my order because this is a shame. Tried to keep my cool until they repeated and said “ u sure u didn’t get it or a friend ?” , the boss came out and was trying to figure it out. He turned around and told everyone to make sure next time to give the right order to people. If it’s the app or DoorDash. This Popeye’s location just recently opened a few weeks ago.

1. As soon as I arrived I saw I could not enter the building to place the order. They instead have a walk up window. If this was night, I would feel very UNcomfortable waiting outside in this neighborhood near a walkup window and not inside an actual building. Strike 1.

2. Next, they had a sign that said cash only, they do not accept credit cards. Strike 2.

3. Finally, I ordered the 12 nuggets. I love the new Popeye’s chicken nuggets but I usually get them from the Grant Ave. location. They give you a lot of big meaty pieces. Most of the pieces form the Grant Ave. location were meaty. However this location did NOT EVEN come close to that. MOST of the 12 pieces of nuggets were small and hardly contained any meat and mostly just breading. I only got 1-2 pieces that had any good meat on them. So if you get nuggets here, just know this is not what they are supposed to be because they are a lot better, and it’s just a warning to just AVOID THIS LOCATION as they are skimping customers by giving them small pieces of breading with a few of them with actual meat in...
