Basically the Mondo Burger of the chicken world. As I sip my pƩt-nat, the cool, crisp harmony of flavors is interrupted by bite after bite of mediocre chicken. I probably should have gone elsewhere, or got a second dinner? But between my inability to cook tonight, and excess of time spent waiting in line - here I am. Besides, with the last several weeks of lines snaking out the door, down the street, who can resist the hype? One must be openminded to the possibility that this chicken can walk on water. Inside the slick, disco ball filled interior big screen displays proudly print propaganda that this is HIGHLY RATED chicken, and nationally ranked!! But in a major east coast city we have choice and competition. In truth, this isn't even the best fast food chicken ON THE BLOCK!! Sure the chicken is fairly tender (for white meat), but it's soggy, too salty, and simply no joy to eat. The dipping sauce tastes like bad salad dressing and bland. The Texas toast.... well, just by definition isn't really even Texas toast? Perhaps the best part of the meal was the cole slaw, because it was simply so average. So what accounts for the ridiculous foot traffic, if not the food? Todd Graves has clearly mastered the art of advertising, or his chicken finger restaurant would be as unfeasible as his 'B-' grade college business plan. Raising Cane's remains a regrettable addition to the neighborhood, much like Paris Baguette. If only a better chicken restaurant existed on this block? Hmm, let me think: where can I choose from a range of delicious sauces, choose from white, dark or wing meat, AND be in and out with my order in <60 seconds, instead of >15 minutes, while at the same time being cost comparable? Oh, yeah that's Wishbone. It will ultimately be fun to see if the crowds at Raising Cane's outlast the promotions. I'm happy to see the former Bobby's Burger Palace storefront no longer closed, but seriously we could have done much better.

I brought my younger sister here on Friday night 04/21 for the first time. She was excited to try Canes. We ordered our food & received it almost 40 mins later. It was packed but they were pretty fast while giving people their food. We noticed that the people right before us & all these people after us got their food! After about 20 mins since I ordered I asked how long for my order & the girl said they are working on it. Now after like another 15 mins I ask again & she has a nasty attitude. I feel like it was a valid question because I asked someone who order at 9:31pm & they received their food at 9:38pm not even 10 mins later while I was waiting for over 30 mins & I ordered at 9:19pm. The one older guy also seemed annoyed when I asked about my order. When I finally got my food at 9:44pm, the one young lady in the front was rude & she rolled her eyes. So instead of them recognizing that they skipped my order, I received attitude back to back. Not okay. The food was good but after all that time waiting they gave us tenders almost the size of a shrimp. Smh. I didn’t get to get their names.

I recently visited Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and had an excellent experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with the chicken fingers cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Cane’s Sauce was the perfect complement, adding a unique flavor that took the meal to another level. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and efficient. They ensured that our order was correct and served quickly, even during a busy time. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Overall, everything at Raising Cane’s was tasty, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great chicken finger meal. From the quality of the food to the excellent service, it was a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Don’t come on a Saturday. I made that mistake. This is gonna be long but it’ll be worth it if you appreciate real honest reviews. I’ve had Cane’s in Arizona and was always a fan so when I heard they were coming to Philly i was thrilled since I moved back here for a bit. First of all, BE PREPARED TO WAIT! It’s a joke. It doesn’t matter if you preorder, you’re gonna wait. You know how busy chick fil a’s lines are? Multiply that by 5. I preordered my food thinking it would help since I had a feeling it would be busy and I ordered around 6:40. The confirmation said it was gonna be ready at 6:59 in 10-15 minutes- Biggest lie. I had to not only circle for 10 minutes to find parking but I had to pay for parking and then stand in a huge line outside of the place to WAIT to pick up a PREORDER! They have you standing outside the store with a big unorganized group of people while you wait for someone to come out every once in a while to call a name (and hope that it’s yours.) she also said the wait was due to them being out of sauce and they needed to make more. This stuff should all be prepped already with an abundant amount considering how busy they know they’ve been since opening. I stood there from 6:55 until 7:32. My food was not ready until 33 minutes after the expected time, almost an hour after preordering…. and there were people standing there that had been there 30 minutes before me with food that was supposed to be ready by 6:30. I still had to go inside to fill my soda because they just give you a cup. Now listen, don’t get me wrong I love Canes, never had an issue in Arizona. Canes is good, it’s not amazing but it’s better than what Philly has usually, plus its fun that it’s new to the area, BUT do not expect this to be incredible or the best chicken tenders you’ve ever had in your life from all the hype you see online. It’s just another chicken place with good sauce. I got two caniac combos (both with no slaw- they let you substitute it for extra sauce, fries or toast) I chose extra fries for one and extra sauce for the other and I ordered an a la carte side of toast. The chicken was good simple fried chicken (yes it is unseasoned like the other reviews say, it’s corporate food, not mamas cooking) the fries and toast were soggy and cold not crispy, not toasty. And the sauce…..canes you let me down. This is not the same sauce they have at other Cane’s but then again maybe it was a thrown together batch since she said they were dealing with a sauce outage. I don’t know, I think everyone should try it for their own opinion but it is not worth the wait and...

This was maybe the worst experience I’ve ever had eating out. Ordered at 6:03, promised time 6:18. They were very busy, so they had all mobile orderers wait outside which is understandable. The girl working the door was calling people in when their food was ready. On average people were waiting 30-40min which seemed reasonable considering the volume of orders. However, there were a few of us that had been waiting quite some time and people who had ordered after us got their food first. We appealed to the door worker to check and see if our orders had been lost after about an hour. She was very rude to all of us and simply said ā€œYou can’t go in. We’re backed up. There’s nothing on the shelf.ā€ I told her that I was concerned my order was skipped or someone else had taken it. She did nothing to check on it. Just would not let us in. We could see one of the mobile order racks from outside and there was a bag on it. We asked her to check if it belonged to one of us. She started yelling back at us saying ā€œI told you there are no bags there!!ā€ Flailing her arms around and getting aggressive. We said we can see a bag and she continued to yell at us. After pointing the bag out from where we were standing, she said thats the drink rack. She could have said that from the beginning without raising her voice, and there were no drinks being bagged as part of the process from what we could see. After 1hr 30min a different worker came out surprised to see that there were still mobile customers waiting, and said they cleared the boards. She brought the four of us in one at a time and made our food on the spot, clearly having lost our food some time ago. Our drinks were sitting on the shelf, having been completed at 6:36 per the label. They were watered down and the drink carrier completely soggy from condensation. At after 7:30 they finally finished our food and forgot the extra sauce I paid for. The original worker who was rude to us kept coming in and out, loudly talking trash about all the customers who were ā€œgetting smart with herā€. Makes me wonder if they received any type of customer service training before opening at all. Don’t eat here unless you want to wait an hour for cold chicken and get verbally abused by...

I came in at 11:35 on Sunday night and ordered the big nox combo, the chain’s signature product. I don’t mind that it took 20 minutes to fulfill my order. I like made to order and quality. But this is where the quality and professionalism. Due to the wait I did not sit to eat until 11:55pm. At about 12:10am I was getting harrased to leave. No one courtesly came to my table to tell me that they were closed. Rather associates were yelling and making demands of me from behind the counter, the length of the store away. This was loud and disturbing. Realizing I only had a few more bites left, I notified the principal antagonizer that I would be gone in two minutes. This was met with loud protests, demand that I ā€œwrap it upā€ and leave now and ā€œno!ā€ She began jokkng about me and encouraging others to laugh at me making me feel unwanted, unappreciated, and uncomfortable. At this point I reminded her that a minute had hone by and I would be leaving in a minute. This was met with anger and a litany that I must do what they say, they must clean, and they want to leave too. Others in the store were somewhat defending me as the customer and informing her colleagues they were being rude but the accompanying laughter drowned out any chance that they would take her seriously. The harassment continuted thru to the moment I left at my two minute mark. As I left they were laughing me out the door and continuing to ridicule me even as I graciously discarded my trash at the bin amd bid polite farewell to the woman waiting to lock the door who sarcastically tried but failed to stop the abuse.

As serious business people know, if the part is damaged, so is the whole. Therefore I can not possibally leave more than one star, a positive achievement given the behavior of the associates. 15-20 min to eat a meal served for dine in is not unreasonable. If this is the level of quality and professionalism front of house, it disgusts me to consider what is happening in the kitchen....
