I am a frequent sweetgreen customer, both at the Walnut Street Location and the Rittenhouse location. I love the salads and warm bowls, and go to either store AT LEAST once per week. Typically I have a nice interaction with whomever is working. But today was very different. Two coworkers and I went in to the sweetgreen on Walnut Street in UCity at 10:32 AM; we wanted to pick up salads since we were already on a coffee run, and knew that it opens at 10:30 AM. We walked in to see one employee with his head down on a table asleep. No one was on the line, which is understandable seeing as how they just opened. One employee from back in the kitchen looked out at us... about 1 minute later he came from the back and said they were not open yet. We stated that the hours are 10:30 and he responded again with "yeah, but we aren't open yet." When I asked when they would be open, the employee responded "whenever the guy comes to fix the oven." When I asked if there was an estimated time so that would could come back, he repeated exactly that again in a snide way. Needless to say, their customer service skills are severely lacking, and management should be on site so that these types of interactions do not...
Read moreI absolutely love this place! The food is fresh, the place is clean (I always get the Hummus Tahina with extra falafel and balsamic vinaigrette dressing) and the staff is drop-dead GORGEOUS. Now hear me out! What I mean by that is that they ALL look like they take great care of themselves (healthy, flawless skin, big smiles), they're all so bright and cheerful and happy to be there (how many times have you been to a place where the staff had attitudes, looked miserable and spread that bad vibe amongst customers?) Well, not HERE. I like to have friendly chats with the staff as I make my way down the salad line and they're so warm and welcoming, not to mention they work fantastically together like a little family. I love it, everything about it! Yes! This is the place to be!

Read moreI love my salads, so I looked up a pace to get a great salad and this place had pretty good reviews. It was 830 when I arrived I built a spinach, salmon salad and topped it off with my favorite dressing “balsamic vinaigrette” the creamy one. This was my first time here and thanks to whoever made the house salad dressing they did a horrible job. I got a medium pour and I couldn’t even finish my food so sad!!? A...
