Seafood House — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Sat11/12@5 i placed a order for a lilttle over 200 dollars with a very rude woman who could not and didnot make since of anything she was saying ..i should have hung up then but no i was willing to try a new place...then i had to call back a hour and half later a rude man answerd and said my food was going to be 30 more min...well 30 min i called back and the rude lady answer the phone saying they neede to make more veggies for it ..and they ran out of large pans so they broke down the order in two small pans.but she said the order left and its on its way and she need to check with manger for sure . 20 min order came all the seafood was over cooked and the veggies what few they sent was over cooked and the butter was in the plastic wrap and not in the containers she lied aot doing the whole ordering process my food was in the large pan after all..everything was salty..when im prepared to spend money with a buniness i except good service or good food.hope peolpe read all reviews before ordering from here lord knows...

Yes they take EBT! For the food quality, price and service it’s worth repeating yes they take ebt and it’s not just because they take ebt that makes them good. The food was actually fresh and taste pretty good. The one thing I can say is my lobster was very overcooked I couldn’t eat it and that sucked! Another was the atmosphere someone sat on the steps and began smoking weed, the restaurant doors were opened so that wasn’t pleasant but it is ridge Ave so I guess. However I actually like the seafood salad my peers didn’t they said it was too sweet. They definitely were generous with the crab, corn and potatoes were cooked to perfection and the crawfish was fresh and delicious. My truth is I'd not go back there, but in my mind, I settled after not finding the place I wanted. I went in after not finding the doors, then found the correct door, the place is dingy. I didn't even want to know what the back looked like or if gloves were worn. The food itself....wow Crumby dry stale Mac n cheese, candy yams were burnt sweet potatoes no sweetness. Disappointed but i didn't listen to my intuition, I wanted seafood! Lol I have never spent so much money for food that was more or less probably the worst in my....."never experienced it." Perhaps they cater to a certain market with ebt and is how they stay in business. Nothing wrong with that and it's still not right. I'm sorry I wish I could give some credit but I find none here.
