Stuff'd North – Worth Every Bite (Detailed Review-Picky Eater)
I’ve got to give a shoutout to Stuff'd North – my sister kept raving about this place, and they did not disappoint! I rarely give out five stars, but this was as close as it gets, so I’m calling it a solid 5.
I ordered the stuffed chicken breast with shrimp (paid a little extra for the peppers) and sides of mac and cheese, yams, and asparagus. Let me break it down:
Flavor: Everything was seasoned perfectly. You won’t need to add a single grain of salt – and that’s saying a lot coming from a trained chef. I loved that each item had its own distinct flavor, not just the same seasoning blend tossed on everything. Big plus for that!
Mac & Yams: These were unbelievably good – the mac had just the right amount of cheese, creamy and comforting, while the yams had that perfect balance of sweetness without being too heavy. Definitely a standout!
Chicken: Just a touch dry, possibly cooked a bit past 165°F. I’d recommend pulling it a little sooner and letting the carryover heat finish it – still very edible, though! The shrimp were seasoned & cooked perfectly.
Asparagus: This one’s a chef’s note – those fibrous ends can be tough to chew, so a quick trim or chop would make a big difference, otherwise, very flavorful.
Peppers and Onions: I could’ve used a bit more, but what I got was flavorful and nicely cooked.
My spouse had the salmon rolls with the same sides, and they were amazing. If I could add one thing, it would be a sweet and spicy sauce or maybe a sweet and spicy mustard for a little extra zing – but that’s just my personal preference.
The portions are generous, which I appreciate since I live pretty far and they aren’t as accessible as I’d like – good and bad, lol. I had enough for lunch the next day, so I was happy!
The staff was amazing, too. I called to confirm my order details because of a mix-up with Uber Eats, and the young lady on the phone was polite and patient, explaining the situation clearly. Same positive energy when I picked up my order – I hope that never changes.
All in all, would I come back or recommend this spot? Absolutely. Thank you, Stuff’d North, for a great experience – more than just good enough, it...
Read moreIt’s hard to support my black folks. Mind you my husband paid close to $100. They messed up my son’s order, they claimed they called my husband which they did not. My son wanted the fried shrimp yams and Mac n cheese. I opened the platter and it was fried shrimp Mac n cheese and broccoli and rice. So I told them the order was wrong again they claimed they called and tried to reach us but they didn’t. So they took forever to remake the platter and they didn’t even give us fresh fried shrimp. I don’t know why it took so long just to change out platters and add Mac and cheese. When I opened the platter they gave us two orders of Mac and cheese because that’s what I asked for, but guess what the rice was missing. So instead of them giving us the rice free again or they even could’ve gave us more due to their mistakes they threw the rice out. They got in their feelings and tossed the rice out I feel because I stated they are lucky my son wasn’t allergic to broccoli. But that’s what I get for supporting my fellow black...
Read moreThis was my first time ordering from Stuff’d by Jannah, and I was truly impressed! I forgot to add something to my Uber Eats order, and they were so helpful. They sent me a link to pay for the additional item and made sure everything was delivered together. Super professional and kind!
I ordered the stuffed salmon with mac & cheese and yams, plus crab cakes with two sides of asparagus and a peach tea. Everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly
The only small note I have is that the peach tea was very sweet. It could’ve just been today, so I won’t judge it too hard since it’s my first time ordering. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!
I’ll definitely be ordering again. 10 out of...
