This place was small but cozy. Nicely decorated and clean. The staff was very accommodating and patient. She took her time to explain the dishes and also advised us the different levels of spicy.
We were a group of four and it was our first time there so naturally we wanted to try everything! So we got the pad woon sen, pad thai, drunken noodles, green curry and pineapple fried rice.
Some dishes were better than the others. Our favorites were the shrimp pad woon sen and the pad thai. You can choose your protein with the pad woon sen but I believe shrimps best compliment the dish. Pad thai is a stable in many local Thai restaurants but the taste varies vastly. This restaurant managed to capture a perfect balance of sweet and savory in their signature pad thai dish.
The dunken noodles and pineapple fried rice were tasty as well but they lacked wok heat. Lastly, the green curry was a bit sweet and lacked the potentness that traditional green curry carries.
Tip: We ordered a couple of dishes with the level "hot" and we were sweating! The group consists of Malaysians and Koreans so we are all used to eating spicy food as we all grew up with it but the "hot" level will definitely hit the spot. With that said, "Thai hot" level may be way too much if you want to enjoy your meal.
Also, this place is BYOB so bring your favorite alcoholic beverages and enjoy! Keep in mind that during the colder weather, they have limited indoor seating so I would recommend calling them ahead of time if you plan on dining in....
Read moreI came here as the second Thai place I ever been to. Let me tell you the difference was day and night from the first place I went to, and not in a good way (the first place was called Circle Thai if you wanted to check them out). The place looks nice and I got outdoor seating. The people were very nice and service was fast, but these were the only compliments I can give this place. I ordered Tom Yum and Crispy Spring Rolls as an appetizer. The spring rolls had no flavor and the sauce barely had any too, I started to smell sewage and thought it was coming from me being outside. That was until I brought the soup closer to me to eat. Unfortunately the soup not only smelled but also tasted like they cooked it in sewer water. I also ordered Pad Thai and Mango Sticky rice. The Pad Thai smelled like Maple Syrup on pancakes, which I already thought was weird, but it had such a strange taste and was barely edible. I had hopes for the mango sticky rice as it’s not a hard dish to accomplish, of course that was a disappointment as well. The rice was anything but sticky and the mango was not fresh at all and I needed a knife to cut through it. Overall it was a Terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone...
Read moreUpdate: We went back for dinner, and still loved our experience. We started with the curry chicken dumplings and corn fritters, both were great, and then had curry and drunken noodles. The service is always super kind and nice, and we love the more laid back homey vibes of this place. They've done a super nice job with the restaurant and menu, while still making it feel like a very small business and like you're actually making a difference by coming here. Their outdoor patio is quiet and nice, we adore it.
We had a great lunch here on a beautiful day. The patio is beautiful and cozy, the food is perfect, and our host/server was so kind. For lunch, they served a salad first that had amazing peanut dressing on it, and the lunch portions were perfect. The outside patio has always peaked our interest, so we're glad we finally stopped by. The woman working was super nice, and even joked and was kind to us when we literally accidentally dumped over all of the waters on our tables! It made us feel a lot better for being dumb. I got the drunken noodle, medium spicy, and really enjoyed the noodles and will love coming back here! I'm glad we finally...
