Update 4/2025: We came by for happy hour and generally enjoyed our experience. The pitcher of margarita was welcome, the Brussel Sprouts are awesome, and the elote was good. They have nice outdoor seating and prices are reasonable. We would have enjoyed Verde or some sort of salsa with our tacos and burrito- they were all dry and lacking seasoning/spice. Our waiter seemed so unhappy it took us by surprise at first and we felt awkward ordering each time, hopefully they are okay. The other waiter at the time was incredibly friendly, we wished we had him.
We ordered take out for a group of four and enjoyed the food. We would have loved sitting outside at the restaurant enjoying it, but it was tough to tell if we could actually get seated or not since this place is always so busy. They don't take reservations, and in a city with a ton of people that sometimes means waiting a long time. We didn't take the risk of having to wait and ordered in. Delivery was way quicker than expected. The guac was good, and the trio of dips was good (although the verde was super runny and maybe not dip worthy). The food we ordered was good, typical Mexican flavors. The buffalo cauliflower wasn't up our alley except for our adventurous eaters. I also ordered the pollo enchiladas and did not necessarily like that there was dark meat in there - but I do understand it's more moist, but it seems like white meat might be the safer choice. We'll definitely come back, but I will be ordering something else from their menu than the...
Read moreI only had the opportunity for drinks here because their service was so bad, my friend and I couldn't stay. We started out by being seated outside in 90 degree weather, when someone finally came out with menus we asked for water. This lady walked right by us without even looking at us and said our server will be out shortly. Our server came out after about 5 minutes and gave us refreshing warm water. Which we both finished by the time he was ready to take our order. We ordered margaritas, chips and salsa, and a bunch more water. Their margaritas were mediocre at best. Their chips are really good though. We waited and waited for our water but no-one came so we got the check and our water finally came! They ended up charging me more than what I paid, we spent 30 minutes waiting for water, and service was absolutely terrible. I will never return and I will have that extra charge disputed by my bank. It's unfortunate because I heard people had great...
