The Fresh Works — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Well I have been ordering from them for a couple of months now and there food has always been good and have had no problems. But last evening 11/2/17 around 8pm I ordered a cheesesteak and they served it on a burnt roll. I don't live in the area anymore and I didnt eat it until about an hour or so later. I also didn't call last night because I didn't realize that they would be open and I didn't get a chance to look it up. So today I called just to tell them them served me a cheesesteak on a burnt roll and I was disappointed not looking for anything else but thinking maybe they would take my name and the next time I ordered they would make it right. But instead the manager proceeded to say to me well it's now 17hr or so hours later why are you calling now about it and what would you like me to do? I said you don't have to do anything and he continued to say I know I don't need to do anything but what would like for me to do? That is not how you take care of your customers by telling them they should of called earlier or asking the customer what they want. All he had to say was that he was sorry about it and that would of been fine. But if he wanted to give even better customer service he could of said let me take you name & number for the next time you order we can make it right! Thanks for your service but don't think I will be ordering from such a rude place again nor will I be telling others to order...

Wish i could rate this place 0 stars, they don't even deserve 1! The staff is rude! No one has customer service skills, the managers are just as bad. We ordered 50 wings waited over an hour for our food, when it finally gets here they didn't send any blue cheese!!! I call and explain to the girl who answered and was told I had to hold for the manager. After being on hold 7 minutes the manager tells me he will give me a credit for free blue cheese next time I order! WHAT?!? Isn't blue cheese included when you order wings?!! I asked if my blue cheese could be delivered and he told me it would be at least hour or more wait. My food was already paid for over the phone with my credit card. I told him the delivery guy could come pick the food up and they can refund my money. NEVER again will we order from here again. Their customer service sucks and the food isn't that...

I ordered the french fries with gravy , I received french fries with Izu which basically is french fries with water yuck. I ordered the hot sausage with sauce thought it would come with peppers and onions but it did not and it was not very good at all period stopping here was all young when I asked him if it was dark brown gravy they couldn't tell me they just said no it's just gravy. I guess I did never heard of country gravy turkey gravy chicken gravy beef gravy pork gravy you get the point. My order took about 20 minutes to get as I waited. When I was there I saw a couple cheesesteaks come out and they did not look like anything to brag about at all you're probably better off going up the street to Steve's Prince of steaks at comly at least you'll know you'll get a great steak there.
