While I have eaten in person and have had a delicious meal, I decided to eat via Uber today and paid $50 dollars for a meal I did not receive. Not only did they not deliver the food, they gave it to another patron in the mall. I explained that the entire mall was one address and Uber has it still being prepared, To-Kai told me to walk down to see if the place that their Uber driver delivered it to, still had the meal. We did so and they said that they did not receive it. The lady from To-Kai insisted that they had it and I explained that we never received the meal that we paid for. She told me to dispute it with Uber. I did and they explained that To-Kai has their own Uber account and that when they looked into it I was correct and it was still pending. So I called To-Kai back to explain what I was told. She kept repeating they delivered it and their driver gave it to a receptionist at Wax City. I explained again for the third time the whole strip mall is the same address, but she did not budge. She said well they have it and you need to go down to them and get your food! She then badgered me with receipt to my personal phone that the driver was holding twice to my phone, that they delivered the food. I said if you can do this why wouldn't your driver call me at arrival to my cell. It said I would meet him at the door. I told her I was done having the conversation, since she refused to replace the meal or give me our money back. She then text me again with the canceled order minus $15 for the tip! Unacceptable and disgraceful customer service! I had to go thru Uber to get the credit she text me to my phone. I still never got my food or tip money back! In response to the restaurant You did say that a woman from Wax City received the food and you said she said her name was Carol Lyn. I only received $35.00 out of $55.00 back because your personal driver or the restaurant, kept the rest. We have eaten there numerous times in person. I did not put Wax City as the destination personally, it said to meet me at the door and the Uber said you were still preparing the meal an hour after the fact. On top of this you text harassed me 3 times, a receipt with the pavement as the background after someone else received and ate our food! You told me to take it up with Uber and yes they finally gave me $35 out of $55 back. Own up to the mistake and please don't attack the customer. Very Unprofessional and a stressful experience
