Read moreWe’ve celebrated a few events in the past here and everything was really good so I was so excited to celebrate our daughter’s very special event here. We’ve changed a date and had to reduce amount of guests at the very last minute which was handled by management very well and I am really grateful for that. However I am very disappointed with the overall experience that day. First I informed the management that we had a little baby with us so we would be leaving at 9 pm before the loud music starts also when we arrived at the restaurant I informed the staff about that too. I asked for the cake to be brought to the table at 8:30, reminded them at 8 pm, at 8:40 the cake was still not brought to the table so I asked about it once again. At 8:55 the cake was still nowhere to be seen, I expressed my disappointment to our waitress and asked for the cake to just be cut and placed in containers and given to our guests to take home as me and my daughter were leaving and there was no pint to bringing the cake. So they brought that cake at 9:20pm and tried to congratulate a wrong baby at the table which looked ridiculous. She NEVER received a receipt for the $200 deposit , the staff never gave her a banquet menu and the person, who took the deposit , had not introduced himself. The refund policy was never discussed We had to cancel the event 10 days in advance. We were told , that the deposit was not refundable and the restaurant has never returned any deposits in 12 years. My friend contacted the restaurant, to ask for a refund and was met with rude, deplorable and unprofessional conversation from a member of the restaurant staff. The owner of the establishment, indicated , that he was present during the above mentioned conversation .It is hard to believe , that the owner of the establishment , would let someone else rectify the issue and not intervene, to settle the dispute on a professional level. The issue is not in the $200 deposit , but in the complete disrespect and unacceptable behavior towards existing and prospective customers.
