Wendy's — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Some people just can't handle the slightest degree of power. Being put in a managerial position should never be an opportunity the flex ghetto muscle which is exactly the basis of my review, I place my order which included a free Frosty with the key tag I have a key tag which I have had for some time and always use it without incident until today. It's no big deal to me whether or not I get a Frosty when I ever I visit it's just the fact that I'm entitled to it so I take it truthfully I don't even eat them I usually give them did someone begging for food on the side of the restaurant. My situation is the rudeness of the I suppose manager I heard her talking to the woman who I was about to exchange the currency when she questioned what's my key fob newly purchased I responded no and with that she was inside the window talking to this rude woman who I can hear through a closed window yelling that she didn't care I would have to purchase a new one. If she had spoken and I respectable manner it would have been smooth sailing but she was barking like an animal from the gate can I help you! I replied no I just want to pay for my order what's the problem then she growled you have to buy a new one and I responded I don't want to purchase a new one and her response , you don't want the Frosty? I replied not if I have to purchase a new key tag. And again she responded so rudely, then you don't want the Frosty. With that I said no you can keep it. She picks up the Frosty looking Disturbed and at that point I had enough of her attitude so I said yes you can keep the frost eat as a matter of fact keep the whole order and I drove off. The dining area is small but sufficient. The food was great! Fries were fresh, food was served quickly and the cashier working the counter was pleasant and courteous. The drive thru seemed to be moving quickly in my opinion, a lot faster than other locations I've encountered where I wait in the drive thru line for upwards of 20 minutes. This particular location was a hidden life saver for me. I had been driving for hours and desperately needed a restroom after a 32oz coffee and about 40 ounces of water my bladder was screaming at me. I had stopped at a McDonald's, a Popeyes and 2 Wawa gas stations without the luck of finding relief. I googled public restrooms because if you aren't aware, finding an open public restroom in Philadelphia is next to impossible. The list google provided wasn't of much help. My final attempt was to drive to one of the casino's and use the restroom for patrons of the casino. On route to my chosen destination I noticed this Wendy's tucked in a corner of a shopping plaza and I took my chances and decided to stop and hope for the best. Not only did I find the long awaited restroom I had been searching for but it was also CLEAN!!! I also stumbled upon a very efficiently ran Wendy's location with friendly staff, excellent hot & fresh food, and a crew that knew their position well to create one of the best team of employees working cohesively together I've seen in a very long time!! I don't know if credit goes to the manager or everyone individually for playing their own part in the teamwork demonstrated. After reading some not so good reviews, I decided to place my online/mobile order 15 minute ahead of time. When I arrived at drive through, I let them know that I have mobile order under my name and was told that if my order is not ready would have to step inside the store to get it. Needless to say I was bummed out as if I wanted to come inside then why the hell I placed online order. But when I got to the last pick up window to inquire if my order was ready or not, it was all ready in cute little brown bag waiting for me. The order was right, nothing missing and as usual yummy Wendys food. I did not rate inside atmosphere as I never stepped in to give honest feedback. The drive through window employee was nice and friendly and the line was moving fast despite of peak lunch hour. So the takeway is for mobile/online order, give them ample time to prepare ahead as it does get very busy and like any place, the employees are overworked and do not have extra help with rush busy times.
