R/Bar&Lounge — Restaurant in Phillipsburg

This place seemed like a decent place to dance and chill for a night but ended up being a joke. The DJ had no idea what he was doing and his computer kept making weird noises and cutting out songs for up to 5 seconds at a time. This happened not once, but 6 times over the course of the evening.

The bar is also rubbish. Sure, they have top shelf liquor but you will not get any of it. Instead you will receive a tiny glass filled with ice with a terribly mixed cocktail drizzled on top. The bartenders seemed like they had no idea how to make anything that didn't have the ingredients in the name.

This place is a sorry excuse of a bar. They are very racist towards white Americans who speak english as a first language and seem mad if you interupt their conversation because you got tired of waiting for a beer for 5 min when theres only 10 people in there including the staff. There are way better bars in phillipsburg if your looking to have drinks and relax like Hammerheads, SOMO or Mothers over the bridge in Easton. But if you wanna dance with guys that INS will be picking up monday morning...

Bar maid was nice. Drinks are too expensive for this to be a bar! In Phillipsburg! $20 double tequila & pineapple. Hennessy tasted like it was mixed with everclear. They use medicine cups as shot glasses. Tequila wasn't included in the red light shot specials. No emergency exit. No toilet paper. Djs aren't that great.* And the owner can't accept constructive criticism!*...
