Barro's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Three friends walk into a Barro's that they had all eaten at before and enjoyed. 24 hours later all three friends all are ill with lets call it for the sake of this review... Gastro Intestinal symptoms.... We met for lunch last Saturday, we all live in separate homes, went to socialize and have some pizza and wings, had not seen each other in weeks, we all went home after our meal. Big mistake. Ordered the pizza and wing special, soda's, celery, ranch and blue cheese. The wings were cold and seemed a bit "chewy" but the sauce was hot and when we questioned the counter help we were assured they were made fresh. The pizza was hot, the dressings seemed cold, celery was cold, not sure where we could have all contracted the exact same symptoms within hours of each other but this seems like the only logical explanation. We all started getting sick starting the next morning, the first one at 2:30 am. The second casualty was at 6:30 am and the third at 7:00am. We are still not feeling 100 percent. This is the only food we had in common, this was the only contact we have had in weeks, you do the math. I of course cannot rule out some strange force of nature that may have cause all three of us the same problems at the same time so you use your deductive reasoning because I would never say 100 percent that we all got sick here for fear of retaliation. I am a bit suspect however after reading the latest restaurant inspection from Maricopa County that contains violations and a complaint from someone else in August of 2014. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED in this Barros! I have been ordering pizza from here for lunch while at work once a week or every other week (at the very least) for almost 2 years now. I always get a small cheese pizza & a side of ranch (and sometimes more depending who is in the office) delivered to me and even though it is a quarter under the required $10 minimum order amount for delivery, Tim (the manager at the time) gave the approval for me to do this since it was a weekly thing. In Tim's mind that is a $9.72 sale every week as well as great customer service for a very loyal customer. Well today I call to place my usual order & the person that answered the phone told me my order was under the minimum & I let him know to ask the manager because he had approved me doing this & so on & so forth... Next thing I know Kevin who is the new manager at this location (Tim transferred to the new store) got on the phone & told me that he would no longer do this for me & he was the new manager so it doesn't matter what Tim did nor that I placed an order every week, I needed to order more plain & simple. I explained my situation and he wouldn't budge. He was also very rude & almost talking down to me. I couldn't believe it!!! They have now lost a guarenteed weekly sale. So to make a long story short, this location used to be awesome but now they have HORRIBLE customer service & obviously do not care about their loyal long term...
