By The Bucket — Restaurant in Phoenix

So when I originally crossed paths with this to-go restaurant when doing my grocery shopping next-door, I thought to myself, “I feel bad for this place” because how special could a bucket of “skabetti” be. So finally last night while passing by again, I decided that I was going to give this place a shot because I didn’t want to cook and I was feeling lazy….The gentleman running the place which I would imagine was the owner was very friendly and when I asked him, “is it too late to order some food” because it was 20 minutes from closing he responded happily that it was no problem at all.

So I ended up getting a medium bucket of “Skabetti” with meat sauce and some meatballs, as well as a half a loaf of garlic bread and commenced home with my goods.

I have to say that it was probably some of the best Sketti I’ve ever had! The noodles were perfect Al dente, the meat sauce was tasty and full of meat, and the meatballs were extremely tasty as well!! The garlic bread was just about as good as you can get as well and was a perfect meat sauce spoon…

Overall for what I thought was going to be a ho-hum meal was surprisingly absolutely delicious!!!! I would highly highly recommend that you not only try this place, but support your local small businesses! If you need a quick meal that will surely satisfy the family this is the place to go!!

Let me first say that I love spaghetti and By The Bucket did not disappoint! Had a long day at work and I was going to stop into Albertsons to pick up some ingredients to make dinner but I felt lazy and saw BTB next door. Stepped inside and was greeted by the two friendly employees working. One employee looked like he was busy in the back but he made the effort to come out to the front and greeted me as well. They were friendly.

Menu was simple and straight to the point. ordered a bucket for the 4 of us in my family to eat at home. Kids loved it and we loved it as well! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Garlic bread was delicious. I felt like being a fatty that evening so I ordered the meatball sub as well and that was absolutely delicious!

Meatball garlic bread sandwich! Writing this review right now is making me salivate and wanting to go get some later after my shift. Sure you can go buy all the ingredients next door and be cheap about it but for $20-$30 and you can feed a family of 4-5 people, you really can't beat that! Definitely better than going to Mickey D's and spend close to $40 or more on unhealthy overpriced fast food that will make you feel horrible after. Came in to buy my kids a family bucket added another 4 meatballs and another half garlic bread cost me $53 with a tip the bucket was half full mostly sauce... actually walked back in and asked if it was supposed to be half full and the B** behind the counter told me it was 1.5 lbs... once I was home I actually had to make a box of spaghetti to have enough noodles to feed 5 little girls ages 2-10 ok top that lady closed 1 hour early and had the worst attitude I've seen in a long time! Spaghetti is the cheapest food to make I could of made what she provided for $10 shopping at Albertsons next door. 1lb of sauce half a box of spaghetti all bland no flavor asked if they had Parmesan and she rolled her eyes and said no??? Terrible place save your money and go next door to Albertsons!!!!
