If I could rate this place a ZERO for bird care and education I would ! This place is a complete disgrace and* SHOULD NOT OWN ANY ANIMALS. I couldn't even believe what I saw and what came in response after me pointing out the mistreated birds in that store. So all my local bird stores that I normally shop at in this general area, are closed in the evenings, and I had to have bird food for my birds at home that night.. So, I searched for something close that carries bird items. When coming across the bird section in this store my heart just dropped!!!!! These 10 birds in a quaint, dark, COBWEB FILLED, corner cage, shared with bunny neighbors- IS COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS! THIS STORE SHOULD NOT OWN THESE BIRDS! When I mentioned the mistreated birds and care, the female worker told me that shes been meaning to, " get to cleaning the bird cage SINCE SHES WORKED THERE," my thought process to that was- And "how long has that been for an animals home enclosure to have COBWEBS," COBWEBS YOU GUYS! This is a store that is all about the money, and I would boycott this place at all cost. Not adding their items for purchase on shelves in the whole store is coated in dust. So if you're looking for expired stale food to feed your animals and items that barely move off the shelf this is your place to shop. And if you think purchasing a bird from this place, you will have better luck with the fish at Petco. Poor birds. Such an unhealthy environment!!! DISGRACEFUL. Not add these birds have ZERO TOYS IN THE CAGE, NO PERCH ROOM FOR ALL BIRDS IN THE ENCLOSURE, just one singular branch that I already know not all birds get perch time on. Doubt these birds even get sleep with the bunny neighbors they have to sleep next to at night. Completely UNACCEPTABLE BIRDCARE!!! People like this are the people I and many rescue birds from. I've been here quite a few times throughout the years as it's close to my home, it has anything and everything!! Horses, cats, dogs, birds, rodents, even reptiles!! Such a massive wonderful selection for anything and everything you could want or need. The food selection alone, WOW! Came here recently about my dog's seasonal allergies developing into conjunctivitis(pink eye) and needed some topical medicine to help her. I knew vaguely what I was trying to find, but my gosh the woman who helped me is a life saver!!! She was so kind and helpful, and friendly too, and I was able to find what I needed super quickly. She was so helpful in even giving me advice on how to apply it and thanks to her help my dog is feeling so much better even in just a few days. She saved me lots of money I don't really have right now and for that I'm incredibly grateful. Talk about 10/10 customer service. The whole time I could hear other likewise super competent employees helping other people around me. All of them very friendly. This store will make you feel in good hands! Genuinely not even going to bother with PetSmart/Petco anymore the difference between them and people who actually care is massive. Even if some things can be more pricey than cheap-o smart/co, it's just worth it to support a business who CARES that you feel welcomed and that you get exactly what you need. I love Pet Food Depot despite the higher than normal prices.... the bulk Chicken / Duck / Turkey / wild bird and layers feed station is so convenient and extremely saver savvy and they have pre filled gallon ziploc bags with the corresponding label or you can fill your own bags a full bag cost anywhere from $1-$2.50. I also like getting my doggies Food and raw marrow bones from the freezer. They have a full range of food and from raw - gently cooked - plant based - bulk - goats milk - hefer milk and a1+a2 natural cows milks , the marrow bones are very big most of the time but they do have smaller one and at $21 / pound it's a good price. They have a customer savings program only for the dog food at this time. But at the counter they have the cbd and raw honey +/- cbd and samples last time we got t shirts and little bags of raw covered kibble and this French dog kibble that seemed very fancy everything they have from bird-fish-reptile-turtle-rabbit-guinie-hampster-ferret-cat-dog-equine-livestock-duck,turkey,chicken-pig-goat etc is always fresh and safe made from quality is shows that they really care alot for tour animals (p.s. they also fill up propane shhhhh its...
