Carniceria Mi Casita — Restaurant in Phoenix

I was searching for the highest rated carneceria even if I had to drive out of my way… If it’s worth it, I would. So when I found this place online yesterday & it being Mother’s Day, I wanted to enjoy time with my family, relax &i DIDNT want to cook and be on my feet too much today, because I am 9 months pregnant. I decided to come here to buy food that they have that is already prepared and cooked I got a #3 a family combo that had carne & pollo asada rice, beans and tortillas with salsa to be exact & I even bought extra sides of macaroni salad and pico de gallo. After eating this food, My family &including Myself got very sick throwing up, bad stomach pains with diarrhea (basically food poisoning symptoms) I am very disappointed that this happened when I came here specifically because of the good reviews I read online but there’s no way !!!! I will never come back here again this is ridiculous I am so upset for paying money and wasting time driving coming here just to get very sick I wouldn’t recommend coming here… I definitely wish I had went somewhere els… BE CAREFUL OF THE FOOD THEY HAVE MADE ALREADY OR YOU COULD GET...

Had my attention with roasting chicken out front, delivered fresh and hot soon after I entered. Compact grocery and deli. Meats, fish, and homemade Gorditas (among other things). Fresh ceviche and salsa station planted in the middle of the store. Limited seating, but enough for a quick bite, in which I did. Enjoyed that Gorditas, as well, took that chicken to go for sure. Pork and Chicharrón Gorditas. Delicious!

What made my experience solid was Effren. He was welcoming, as well advised me on the many options that were not posted, yet were available. For example fish tacos, breakfast burrito, etc.

11/26 Another delicious visit. Grabbed a massive chicken burrito with rice and beans (they'll make it to order). Chicken was chopped up to order from their rotisserie chicken they grill right...

I had placed an order for delivery via doordash. After waiting for what seemed like forever I received a call from Mayra asking me if I knew if the dasher was going to pick up the order as it had been ready for quite some time. I had just spoken to doordash and they confirmed that dasher was in route however within 10 mins of this conversation I received notification that my order had been canceled. The owner of the carnicería called me and said that doordash had paid them for the food and that she would deliver it to me. I asked her where they were located and turns out they were pretty far from my home. She asked me where I live and she said that's ok I will take it to you. This was above and beyond. Thank you so very much for being so nice and having great customer service. And the food...
