Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Phoenix

I ordered through Door dash for delivery. After waiting an hour it showed door dasher waiting on delivery. I contacted driver and he said someone picked it up according to the manager. No one picked it up! The manager was told that my app still shows that door dasher is waiting. The store gave it to someone else not us. The manager was unprofessional and didn't seem to give a care that we didn't get our order. The door dasher said it was the 2nd time that night that this happened at a churches chicken! They refused to remake our order and told me to take it up with door dash. I did and they refunded me money which shouldn't be on them to do when their staff made the mistake! Honestly I think the sketchy manager took it home to feed her family because she didn't want to see my proof showing that door dasher was pending picking up food. They would have shown it as picked up to if they actually had someone pick it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THAT PLACE. THEIR MANAGEMENT ARE RUDE AND PASS THEIR INCOMPETENCY OFF ON OTHERS. CHURCHES GET RID OF THAT MANAGER. SHE IS NOT WORKING IN YOUR BEST INTEREST!

The food is always good! Mashed potatoes, jalepeños, Cole slaw, biscuits, etc. The area is interesting! Not the greatest, but I must say that the area is very "Ghetto", but real. I always get a great meal there and the two managers, a Hispanic man and Hispanic woman, always deliver "Outstanding" service and nice! I like the area as it is interesting and as someone said earlier there is always a show outside the window near the liquor store and bus stop. I see some familiar faces around there that are homeless or on drugs but they are people too ya know. They do ask for money and sometimes I give it to them and sometimes I don't. In my mind this is the best store in town because the food is excellent and so are the workers there. People are just trying to make it just like me only differently. I really appreciate this store. I know it's "Ghetto" and low class, but I like it. It gets props from me every time. A lot of "Shady People" there but remember they are people too even though they may be drunks, drug addicts, homeless, and mentally ill. They need love too. I treat them all with respect anyways. I AM CRUSHED!!! Churches had the last good apple pie in the fat food industry, and i found out yesterday it's GONE!!!! WHY!?!??? I am seriously hurt! I waited all day, Dreaming about that pie, my Jalapeño Poppers, and my delicious Texas Tea, vacate we had a long hats day, and I'm on a diet but I was going to test myself, just to find out it's GONE!!! Rio need my whole meal and night. They don't even have those great nuisance with that icing anymore. THEY EVEN GOT RID OF THE HONEY PACKETS!!! You lost a customer toady!
