Easily some of the best sandwich and salads I've ever had. Excellent for catered lunches. Quick service as well. Had ordered lunch here for several days and gotten the garden salad, avocado salad, chicken wrap, quesadilla, and house chicken salad. All were excellent serving size and great taste. The salad croutons were likely from the same bread as the sandwiches and were the highlight of the garden salad. The house chicken walnut sandwich was especially fantastic, and the multi grain bread used is perfect both. I wish I had more time to try the rest of the menu.

I got a Hot Italian sandwich witch was very tasty! The ingredients were fresh and the cheese was melted. Would highly recommend eating there and no TO GO with the hot sandwiches. My bread was almost all soggy on the bottom bread and made it hard and messy to eat. A little disappointed with the Mac salad. It was creamy and fresh but has a lack of seasoning maybe a little more salt and pepper. But kind of bland. Will try this place again but maybe a cold sandwich this time or a burger. But overall good for a private owned deli.

Discovered this place just because i was looking for something new. It is in an office building. Might not have found it if I wasn’t looking for a deli. They have a decent breakfast menu, but haven’t tried it yet. I went during lunch on a Monday. Ordered the tuna salad on multigrain bread. It comes with a pickle. The albacore tuna tasted good, with a hint of dill. Lot of Mayo though. I might go again. The staff was very friendly. I wish the prices were a little lower.

Great service! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, and kind. (Qualities rarely found in the service industry anymore!) We see the deli on our way to and from doctor appointments, and the food smells so good! Unfortunately it's always closed by the time we leave our appointment. (They are open for breakfast and lunch.) Finally we arrived at 2:55, and they close at 3pm!! We tried to order a burger and a hit sandwich. The employee very politely explained the grill closes at 2pm, but we could order a cold sandwich. It was obvious we weren't satisfied with that response and weren't sure we wanted to pay such steep prices for what must be mediocre sandwiches! The manager came over to take our order. She explained how they've been operating since the Pandemic. The fact that they were willing to take our order was outside of their normal business hours. She was so sweet and helpful we decided to share the City Square Classic, with potato salad, and a drink. We asked if she still had some hot chili, and thankfully we were able to get a whole bowl!! Their delivery man came in as we were waiting on our order. He was telling the manager about what he had experienced while he was out. I watched her put our sandwich together and I was quite amazed! They weigh each item that goes on the sandwich. My first thought about that wasn't favorable towards them! I was glad I had kept my thoughts to myself! The sandwich is stacked so high, I physically couldn't open my mouth enough to take a bite!! I had to pull out some of the meats in order to be able to eat the sandwich like normal! Their generous portions were enough to make several sandwiches!! Though we were full after sharing the sandwich and potato salad, we wanted to taste the chili while it was hot. It was love after the very first spoonful! It didn't matter that we had filled up on the sandwich, we had to leave to get to our appointment, but I continued to eat until I had to enter the office! I threatened physical harm if my fiancé tried to eat MY CHILI! I might share it, but he better not try to eat it without me! We laughed as we enjoyed eating the chili together days later! Their delivery man stopped to check on us, and made sure we didn't need anything before he left. I was so impressed by the service all the employees demonstrated (even if it wasn't part of their normal responsibilities)! Each demonstrated such dedication to the business with qualities normally found in the business owners, or CEO’S! The delivery man expressed his love of his position because it keeps him busy and connected to their clients. I believe he told us he was a retired police officer from Chicago. He told us more about the business, for example they don't advertise. Their business grows by word of mouth! We were so impressed with the food, we are submitting applications to become LONG TERM CLIENTS!! I can't wait to experience the rest...

The deli serves up some good food; but, for whatever reason, I seem to have gotten on their bad side. The first time I went there, I waited for about 25 minutes for a salad, noticing about five people that came in after me were served first. They had forgotten about me. I had meetings the rest of the day and no time to eat, so I canceled my order. I've tried them a couple of other times, and it seems I get a bit of attitude from them every time.

Today, I went to get a salad and got the same cold shoulder. But I had been told if we work in the building there was a discount. I told them and was basically told good for you.

You know, I know how hard retail is - especially food service. And maybe I was a little abrubt when asking for my refund ( I was in a hurry), but I've tried to be extra nice to them since. I had my last salad there today.

I'd rather not give my money to someplace that seems to not like me very much. I'll bring my lunch...

I found this little gem through Google. I wanted a sandwich with sauerkraut and decided to go here. The GPS sent me around the back of the building but I was able to find City Square Deli & Grill. I decided on the half sandwich and half soup. I chose a grilled cheddar on sourdough with sauerkraut and tomato and the cream of asparagus soup. WOW! Just wow! I highly recommend this deli, fantastic service. The owner (sorry I didn't catch your name) was kind enough to send me home with an extra helping of the soup and I gladly bought two cookies to go after I finished my lunch. The oatmeal raising cookie is one of the best that I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to as many people I know looking to support small business in our community. Amazing experience... I highly recommend! I will...
