The course is absolutely legit, lots of fun, challenging, and was conducted by an extremely knowledgeable and well versed ropes instructor at the Pasadena, TX Safety council (HASC) location. The instructor, Mike, is very experienced and looks to share any and all knowledge he has obtained over his career, both as a worker in the field and as an instructor. His ability to patiently assist and teach the material in a multitude of ways makes him a valuable asset to Abseilon, as well as whoever gets in front of him. I was invited to Abesilon USA and I have to say that it is a great place to learn Rope Access. The instructors are very knowledgeable and strive for excellence. I enjoyed the way they teach and they answer all questions with detail and will show you if applicable (i.e. knot tying etc.). No question went unanswered and all questions were answered so that everyone understood. In their training facility, they do not use just one type of device but have a variety that are used, that way everyone knows the different devices and how they are used as well as their function.
