Bacon deviled eggs are a must try! This restaurant has been on our list for some time, and we’re ecstatic we finally made the visit. I wish I remembered the name of our server, because she was outstanding. We tried two of their specialty mocktails, a hibiscus cooler (loved) and the lavender sparkling lemonade (which we ordered with slightly less lavender syrup at the servers recommendation, and it was the perfect flavor profile of sweet and tart). In addition to the mouth-watering deviled eggs, we tried the Parmesan garlic buffalo wings, which were ah-mazing. Everything on the menu has a unique twist, so the wings were served with a cucumber dip and jicama sticks rather than your traditional ranch and carrots/celery, and I have to say, i don’t ever want to go back to the standard 😂 Main course we split the short ribs, which were good. My boyfriend loved them, for some reason they weren’t my favorite (I personally have some short rib spots that are to die for), but the dessert made up for any slight disappointment on the entree. We doubled up on dessert order because we couldn’t pick just one, and went with their house-made apple pie, which comes a la mode, and their crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e cheesecake. Can’t wait to visit again and try more of their diverse and unique menu, including the chocolate bacon! đŸ„“

We stopped in for an early evening dinner last night, New Year’s Eve. Although we planned to have dinner, happy hour was all day. Yes! On New Year’s Eve. For once we found a place that offers very good cave brut and sparkling red along with other drinks. Prices were great and the food on happy hour was enough. I did order off happy hour for filet sliders and I am glad. Delicious, soft and seasoned well. Their Wagu sliders were a hit and they were huge and dripping with cheese. You get 3 large sliders, definitely enough for a meal. Our table ordered plain deviled eggs and the bacon topped eggs. Both were a hit, but I must say the crispy bacon on top was my favorite. Crispy Brussels sprouts were a hit too. I totally recommend this restaurant. Our server, Chris, was so accommodating, patient and never rushed us. He was a delight. I wish I knew the lady’s name who welcomed us, such a positive attitude and the young lady who brought out our food. She was always smiling. We will be back. Thank you for a nice, casual and memorable start to our New Year. Happy New Year to you!

Exceptional Service and Dedication by Gigi at Cook & Craft on High St. AZ!

I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we have received from Gigi at Cook & Craft on High St. Her dedication to her job and exceptional skills make her deserving of praise and recognition.

Gigi has been with Cook & Craft since its opening, and her commitment to her work is truly remarkable. She consistently goes above and beyond her job responsibilities, especially during busy times, and closing shifts. We had a wonderful lunch on Sunday with our daughter and husband. A very welcoming atmosphere. We were met as we entered and seated where we felt comfortable. The staff was amazing starting with our waiter, who brought a corked bottle of water, table fare, menus, and a warm smile and attitude. He was pleasant and seemed as though he enjoyed working there and immediately took our drink orders. My daughter's margaritas were amazing. Not your standard Mexican restaurant margarita either. Rimmed with a special flavor and excellent tequila. I had the passion fruit iced tea that had a very refreshing taste especially coming in from the summer heat paring with their very cooling atmosphere. My wife and I split their signature Pretzel Pastrami sandwich that came with their famous crispy-coated fries. Big eaters would test their abilities to put this one away without a "doggy bag." My son-in-law had the Cranberry Chicken Bacon sandwich which is another one of their in-demand favorites. Don't be fooled by the three Sliders as an appetizer. My daughter couldn't finish them. They were nearly full burgers in my book. We topped it off with dessert with their in-house specialty Carrot Cake. You won't be disappointed. It was cooling, silky-not dried out, caramel drizzle, with dollops of fresh whipped cream deliciousness. The presentation was awesome and a pleasant ending to a wonderful experience. It's a hideaway place on the west end of High St. on a corner where parking is a snap. We know this is our to-go place in High St. and a...

Ordered take-out during the end of July. Neither wife or I were that happy with what we received. My Portobello mushroom sandwich wasn't warm (although it was picked up on time and I started it within 10 minutes). We gave them another chance on August 17th, on a night out when we were heading to the comedy club next door afterwards. We were sat immediately before 5:30pm on a Saturday. Our server was mostly attentive, but wasn't big on bringing refills of my pop (knowing I'd be drinking at the comedy show). I ordered the wrapped meatballs, which was a much better choice than before. Wife had the grilled salmon, which she really enjoyed, but wasn't thrilled about the vegetable orzo--she wished they were separate, but that's just personal opinion. I paid first with a gift card we received, and then the balance and tip on my credit card. I also have the receipts proving that is what happened. The following Monday I was reviewing my credit card statement, and saw they charged the full amount of the meal on my credit card. I emailed them immediately, and explained the details. Two days later when I checked, it was corrected, but nobody bothered to contact me to apologize or even to tell me that it was corrected. I don't know which bothers me more--the fraudulent charge on my credit card, or the lack of basic customer service and humility. They've had 10 days to respond and have...
