Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Phoenix

My teenager walked over there to this new location over a mile in this heat to order a drink and a team member Sam said she would not take her order even though they take orders on tablets because they said they are a drive through only facility. That is ridiculous and unreasonable and unprofessional. They should be able to take walk orders because they are literally walking around the drive through lane taking orders and handing the drinks out as they do not have a drive through window only drive through doors. At this point what does it matter. A different team member don’t know her name but was an African American girl very nice and sweet did go up to my daughter and take her order. The other girl Sam went to the manager and after the other girl took my daughter’s order after she refused to. The manager came and told my daughter they would only do it this time. Made her feel like she did something wrong. Dutch needs to change this policy. Or they will be losing a lot of customers. Their customers are mostly younger teens and a lot of them only area walk around. They should not be refusing service especially...

I can get a Coffee anywhere. I saw they just opened and I thought if the only thing they sell is coffee then they must be experts. Wrong... Ordered a regular coffee with French Vanilla creamer add splenda. They don't have basic French Vanilla creamer. She recommended Oat milk. I told her I didn't want to taste oats I just wanted regular creamer and she said it was the right thing. Get to the window. Girl was friendly but I saw her getting ready to pour some coffee over ice. I said no no no I don't want ice in my coffee. I ordered regular hot coffee. She said oh okay well I'll pour a new cup. She did.... drove away and the coffee is COLD. it's not regular Hot coffee as I wanted. There's stuff floating in the coffee presumably oats. The coffee tastes like oats not like coffee yuck. This nasty cup cost nearly $5 and I hate it. Why can't you get a regular hot cup of coffee with regular creamer and splenda. I don't understand how you specialize in coffee and not sell basic coffee. Literally threw my money in the trash on the most expensive cup of coffee I ever bought and then couldn't...

This sucks to have to write a bad review, I wish I could give zero stars for this location ONLY! Since it has been opened idk the drinks do not come out right not sure if it’s cause of the constant employee changeover but these drinks are not cheap and they will have only one person taking orders in one line only at time and than this week with NO visible sign before you get into a lane that now only one lane is dedicated to online orders so as you wait in that line cause no signage and masss line in other lane and after already waiting for 30 min asked to go back in the other line when they have no cars in the other lane THAT WAS RIDICULOUS!! And unaccomadating who wants to do that!! I will not be returning here and the experience actually drove me away from this franchise period who wants to wait an hour or more for coffee RIDICULOUS!! you literally have one line of cars all the way out into traffic.
