The food was standard for a Mexican fast food place and the "lingua" tacos had some issues. Everything was of the "prepackaged" or "canned" variety. Nothing authentic or "homemade" so it resembled Mexican food which is unfortunately what most nonmexicans believe to be authentic Mexican food these days. However the service issues at the drive thru were very much authentic Mexican issues. The second time here the issue wasn't entirely their fault. Both times I went here the drive thru had issues. The first times there was was a language barrier thing. English IS the official language of the country and those working with the public should have a better grasp of the language then the lady working the drive thru had. On the second trip the bank next door was having alarm issues so it was hard to hear and we ended up giving the second half of the order at the window making the wait kind of long. The enchiladas, beans and rice were to taste as previously stated as "canned" and the portion was large. The first visits issue was with my trying to order lingua tacos and I'm still not sure if what I got was actually lingua tacos or even if they serve them. I assumed after repeating it 3 times that they would have been as she finally inquired if I wanted the "street" tacos. I didn't know that there was a difference and just said sure. If they were lingua tacos then the lingua was very over cooked. To the point that I am unsure exactly what it was. Perhaps they don't get ordered very much and the meat sits under the heat lamps for long periods of time before it gets used and I get that but if the person ordering something can't tell if it's what they ordered or not perhaps removing it from the menu should be considered... So if your idea of Mexican food is of the fast food variety then this place is exactly what you'd expect. I have had the privilege of having some of my closest friend through out my life who were born and raised in Mexico before coming to America so my idea of Mexican food is one of being privileged enough to have enjoyed the authentic thing which is of course not just about the food but the hospitality and atmosphere and welcoming additude of the people. Mexican food isnt just about the food but the experience and the hospitality of the host, being welcomed as a guest into where ever. That's something that gets lost when it comes to ordering it at a fast food restaurant. At least that's my personal experience and thoughts about the whole thing. So if you expect the American version of Mexican food you will probably like the food here if you've been prevledged enough to have experiences being invited into the home of a born and raised Mexican family as a guest for dinner then the food serves it's purpose to get something in your gut but not...
Read moreOrdered food at this location 10/03/2025, came home to soggy, oily undercooked fries. Went back in to politely ask for a remake, that's all i wanted. Asked the cashier lady , she went back and said "THE COOK DOESNT WANT TO REMAKE IT, REFUSED AND WE ARE REFUNDING MONEY" We never asked for a refund, what I found unprofessional and skechy was that "there is no manager, they don't have one" She referred me to google lol Apparently the owners come in on Saturdays only. They refused to give me a number and said to leave my info. I highly doubt anyone would reach out because the vibes where weird. If they are like that in person, handling a situation like this, avoiding it and being upset over a simple request can u imagine how they treat the food they make/serve!! Don't bother ever complaining they wont to shh about it. They simply don't care about what ppl say and they go about their day. I've had issues in the past and this is my sign to never go back again, WORST LOCATION EVER! Ive also noticed they only reply to good reviews. Like i mentioned they ingore any issues and dont care at all. Seems like RAMON THE COOK WAS HURT OVER HIS NASTY FOOD. He probably don't even wash his hands. THEY ALL NEED TRAINING IN CUSTUMER SERVICE, oh wait they don't have any management that's why they do whatever they want. ZERO STARS at thos location. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ACROSS THE STREET TO ANTOJITOS AY WEY 1000% BETTER/REAL MEXICAN...
Read moreI ordered Super Nachos with carne asada through the drive-thru, but when I got home and opened the bag, I realized I had been given the wrong order. Frustrated, I drove back—this time choosing to go inside rather than use the drive-thru again.
When I walked up to the counter, the same woman who had been working the drive-thru turned around and approached me. Not a greeting. Not a “How can I help you?” I showed her my receipt and explained, calmly, that I had received the wrong item. Without a word, she snatched the bag and receipt from my hand, tossed the bag straight into the trash, and asked the kitchen to remake my order.
Five minutes later, she handed me the correct food and muttered, “I’m sorry, momma.” That was it. No genuine apology. No accountability. No effort to make it right.
This is a clear reflection of a much bigger problem—so many people in customer-facing jobs don’t seem to care anymore. They’re distracted, disengaged, and completely checked out—more focused on their phones than the work in front of them. The concept of service, professionalism, and pride in one’s job feels like a thing of the past.
And honestly? If this is what we’re dealing with, maybe it is time for AI to take over. Because at least then, we might get consistency, respect, and a bit of basic...
