Bring a weapon. My dogs and I we’re almost stabbed by the morning junkies sleeping on the playground because we woke them up from their high… there’s been more cops l around lately, other walkers bring their guns with them for protection… Besides the ghetto factor, the park grounds are unkept, neglected weeds were to my hips the other day and grass to my shins, and whatever fake died green grass filler they riddled all over the parks grass has an insane amount of thorns and very sharp stickers that are constantly getting stuck in my dogs feet…. This park is very mellow and beautiful. Tons of open space, well-kept playground toys, and gorgeous trees for shade.
However, there are NO BATHROOMS.
Also, many local dog owners choose to be irresponsible and have their dogs off leash while walking the neighborhood and crossing through the park. They may have faith in their dog training abilities, but I do not.

We did encounter 2 adults in the park who settled in on the swings and we're very clearly high. Their vulgar language and insistence on my son hoping them on the swings truly bothered me and we cut our play time short. I'd come again but I wouldn't take my eyes off my kids.
