Love this place. That Mexican burger or whatever it is with onions and charred hatch chilli's is rediculous! My favorite burger I've ever had!!!
Warning. Not all locations created equal. The one on 31st ave and Glendale is by far the best!!! (Cross streets might be slightly different, maybe 29th ave?)
I'm Not sure exactly the location but there is one that is within a few miles of the Camelback shopping plaza off the 51, where Nordstrom's rack, forever 21, twin peaks, best buy, whole foods, etc. That was a terrible experience I do not recommend that location.
(Tried to tell me I couldn't use their restroom because it had been cleaned for the night, it hadn't and they were still open for another hour. Tried to tell me that the order they got wrong wasn't wrong, it was. And tried to make me wait while he counted his drawer for me to receive the price difference returned for making me a cheaper burger I didn't order but was charged for the more expensive burger that I did order. He stopped what he was doing after he saw my eyes. I ordered a shake that I had to remind them 3 times to make and they couldn't have been more bothered. I was super upset with their childish catty customer service. And I made it known.)
But 4 stars because the Glendale location is great and the food is awesome. And I love the "fast food +...
Read moreI'd advise for you to try a different burger shop. This place is way too expensive for the quality of the product you get. We paid over $30 for 2 burger meals and then they still charged me extra for a second drink saying it hadn't been covered the first time. The food was also way too expensive for the taste and look as the burgers were all sloppy and felt very home-made in a bad way. The bread was soggy and the food just did no look appetizing. I would have paid the same or less at Five Guys or Smashburger for way better quality. Not only that, but the service was bad too. There was only 1 car in front of us and it still took 30 minutes to get through the drive through which was ridiculous. When we also tried to tell them we had ordered 2 meals, they denied us a second drink and told us we had to pay for it again which was wild. Not to mention how upset we were once we actually saw the food which was not well made, undercooked (fries were hard inside and the burgers were too pink). We ended up getting dinner elsewhere after already spending $30 at Lenny's. Never going back again and I suggest you save your money as well. Five Guys, Habit Burger or Smashburger are wayyy better options for the price range this restaurant attempts to use on their food. If I could, I would have given a 0...
Read moreLenny’s Burger doesn’t mess around with the main event. The burger is exactly what you want when you’re hungry and honest with yourself—juicy beef, cheese that actually melts instead of clumping, and a bun that can take the abuse. It’s the kind of burger that makes you nod mid-bite, like, yeah, this is why I came here.
But then the fries crash the party. Too salty, too oily—like they’ve been cooked in the same vat since the Clinton administration. They’re edible, sure, but they don’t match the burger’s swagger. You get halfway through and suddenly you’re reaching for water, wondering if this is what dehydration in the desert feels like.
And here’s the kicker: twenty-one bucks for the large combo. Twenty-one. For a burger, fries, and a drink. That’s pushing into “I better be getting table service and artisanal ketchup” territory. At Lenny’s, you’re not. You’re sitting under fluorescent lights, unwrapping paper, and realizing you just spent the better part of a Jackson for the privilege.
Still, if we’re being real—the burger redeems it. Maybe not twenty-one-dollars-redeems-it, but enough to make you forgive, at least temporarily, the overpriced, salt-bombed sides. You’ll grumble about it walking out, but you’ll come back anyway. Because a burger that good has a gravity...
