Neveria chayos #2 — Restaurant in Phoenix

Never going back due to the terrible customer service!!!Chayos has been a place I would always go to since they opened their second location there. I was glad they were getting the recognition they deserved. Though as of late, their customer service has been getting worse. I went late one night, 20 minutes before they closed. Now I know the employees were probably looking forward to going home (I’ve worked in the fast food industry before I understand). Keeping that in mind, they should still be friendly to the customers that come in while their sign reads “open”.

From the moment I walked through the door and I bumped into a guy cleaning around the entrance and I said “hi”, no reply. I let that slide and moved to the counter where various workers were cleaning (one was cleaning around the cash register). They all saw me but no one said anything or greeted me. It took them about 4 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. When a lady did she had an attitude, that should have been a sign to walk away and leave the place, but I had already made the trip. I only ask for two thing that didn’t take much to make but every time I talked the lady would just sigh and look somewhere else. She didn’t even take notes when I asked her not to put chili powder on an item and when asked her if she would please give me the cream/ milk of the other item on a separate cup instead of putting in the to go box (since it always overflows and spills). From there I waited a while for my order. While I was waiting more customers came in and I could tell they also felt uncomfortable ordering due to the same treatment I received. When I finally got my order I realized that none of the specifications I had asked for were met. When I told them I had requested the cream aside, they told me that’s how they made it, with everything mixed together.

Not surprising at all when I got home I noticed my whole car seat was wet and stained from the cream that spilled (this is the reason why I always ask for the cream on a separate closed cup). At the end, the my items weren’t even all well made and missing a lot of ingredients. After that experience I have decided to never go there every again. There are many other shops like this one popping up all over town and I rather drive a bit more to go try those than deal with the horrible customer...

I don't recommend coming here if you value your time, money, and food. For starters extremely overpriced 2.75 for this? And 1.40 in taxes? Excessive. Lady up front extremely rude. I worked retail and fast-food you don't treat people like that. My father ordered. I was waiting to order and she was just fighting with the workers who were utterly clueless as too what to do finally was able to order and young girl was waiting to order and once again she turned around to fight with the workers extremely unprofessional up front says you have to wear masks inside nobody was wearing a mask they'd order and take it off not sure what the point of your sign is then chips for the tosti elote extremely soggy I ordered them 2 min ago no need for them to be so soggy although my father comes here because it's close I'm taking him to a better quality place with better food and better...

(ordered through Postmates) I was craving elote and ceviche, and this place was exactly what I was looking for! The prices were very cheap, so I was worried I wouldn't get much food. I was so wrong! 🩷 The portions are huge! The ceviche was perfectly cold, and the elote was warm and toasty; it was incredible! The ratio of the ceviche was perfect for me, and I loved that every bite had a bit of everything. The elote was creamy and delicious, too. I have no complaints, and nothing to nit-pick. The driver even told me the place was "really lovely, fun, and clean inside!” and I can't wait to...
