When I got to the window I gave my code I was told my code didn’t go through I refreshed and gave him the code again he then told me the amount and I asked if the code went through he said NOPE I said well what do I do he said I don’t know it’s not our problem I then said excuse me… it is a McDonald’s app he said yeah and it’s not going through. I then asked him to call the manager didn’t come to the window it was three people that walked up only 1 went to the window and said what’s the code and can you refresh it I did he said no no not going through I asked for their names the one guy that helped me last gave his name said Juan the first guy said why and didn’t want to say his name and said why do you need my name then said Jose. It’s not so much about the code it’s the customer service if the codes are part of the McDonald’s menu and an offer and reward that customers get then it should matter. Being short handed or not caring about the service you business is providing is not okay. We work hard and sometimes we just want to buy food for our family after a long day at work but do live on a budget McDonald’s rewards is what we look forward on to help us afford to feed our family. Order 2 hot and spicy was very clear that i couldn't eat mayo am allergic to it. I repeated 2x, and to please make sure there wasn't any on my order. When they gave me the food I asked again. Was told there wasn't any. Get home 🏡 sit down to eat both sandwiches were full of mayo, I couldn't believe this. They didn't think I would come back, on arrival asked for the manager, informed who I had spoken to both employees and what I had asked for,letting know about my allergy, they both said there's no mayo almost bothered by my GUESTION .The manager was very surprised offered a refund and to make the food again but, was too late. As I said “Good morning”, for one she didn’t even acknowledge it, secondly she didn’t even make eye contact & thirdly when giving her my rewards code she said, “Next time give me your code at time of ordering because this is suppose to be fast paced & you giving it to me at the window takes too long”. NEVER has anyone been so disrespectful! I have 5 companies here in AZ & I like to treat my employees to breakfast & that experience was uncalled for. I already had the code up, all she needed to do was type it in. But instead she spent her time giving me a lecture. I even told her thank you & she didn’t even smile or said thank you back.
