I made reservations for Valentine’s Day and they seemed to be over booked. We arrived early and the only table available was in the back room. Upon being seated we realized it was very cramped and didn’t have the same attention to detail as the front room like roses and decor. The chair I initially sat in was very uneven and rocked back and forth. The menu was very limited and $75 a person. No cocktails were listed on the menu and upon asking for drinks they only recommend margaritas and sangria (which I later found out are only $6 a drink). The margarita was watery but the sangria was good. The service was attentive and the food came out quickly. The soups were a little on the bland side but the main dishes were tasty. Overall is was not worth the price per person. This was our first time dining here and I wish we didn’t go on Valentine’s Day. The limited menu and cramped environment didn’t make for a romantic evening. It was loud and the night felt rushed. Perhaps their full menu would be a better experience. Almost a year later and no response from the owner. Not trying to make amends with reasonable criticism shows a lack of integrity. Too bad.

Small Central Mexico food in a converted house. Parking in the back. It’s been there for years but I hadn’t been back in years either and thought I’d try it again. We had the made to order guacamole that was made to order but still good. Served with just a few chips which was odd. I had the cesino which was okay. The meat was overly dry though it had flavor. My friend had a plate with meat also and it was okay. This place used to have excellent service and interesting food that was more South American but it is more mainstream Mexican now. The service was okay, not constant and not terrible. We didn’t get drink refills or asked if we wanted further items. The interior is tiled Mexican style decor and the tables are comfortable.

This is a good spot to go to if you’re planning a romantic breakfast, lunch or dinner. It has more of a Spanish style feel with Frida Kahlo portraits. It’s not always packed so it’s more of a hidden gem. Maybe not after this but I highly recommend it. The story behind this place is interesting. I started coming here because I heard about this place in “Unsolved Mysteries” as a child and it’s what I expected. I love the Cilantro Soup! It’s a must try. Other food is good too. They said sometimes a guitarist comes in and plays music in the evening. Haven’t had the chance to experience that but sounds so intriguing. Customer service is great too. Parking is a bit tight but it’s worth the experience.

What an adorable quaint little place! I absolutely loved the decor and atmosphere. Their menu is small and prices are extremely reasonable. I may also say cheap for the types of dishes they serve. Just a fair warning though... where it's customary that Mexican restaurants serve chips & salsas for free, this restaurant doesn't. We were asked if we'd like chips and salsa with guacamole and we said, sure! The waitress never mentioned we'd be charged. It was our first time here and we felt a bit conned into being charged. Also, my 10 yr old son asked if they had a children's menu and the waitress said, "we have a quesadilla with beef, chicken or pork and we have a 2 Taco plate with rice and beans. My son chose the quesadilla with pork but when we got the bill, we saw we were charged adult prices for his meal and drink. $9.95 for his quesadilla and $4 for his drink. This is not a kid friendly restaurant. They don't have a kids menu, come to find out. This dishes were just a suggestion by the waitress. 😒 Again, we felt conned. I feel they should be more transparent and let the customers know upfront. Other than that, the place was great and the food was amazing! My husband had the Enchiladas Verdes and I had the Enmolads (chicken Enchiladas con molé sauce) and we all loved our plates. We will...

Upon arrival, the experience was a bit confusing. The small parking lot was full during lunch so we parked on the street. We initially went to the street corner entrance, which was closed. At the rear entrance, there was no one available to direct us to seating. We eventually found our way through a narrow hallway to the bar area up front, where a waitress assisted us and showed us to our table.

Our waitress was super friendly, however, there seemed to be some confusion regarding the menu. When asked if all combo plates came with beans or rice, we were told yes. However, we later discovered that only the dishes explicitly stating inclusion of beans or rice, or both, actually came with them.

Additionally, my wife received the wrong meal due to a misunderstanding with the waitress. Despite these initial issues, once my wife's correct order arrived, we found everything to be delicious.

The establishment does not seem to accommodate a larger party of four. We tried this place out for the first time and sadly we would not bring a larger party to this establishment due to the limited seating size that they appear...
