McDonald's — Restaurant in Phoenix

We were at this McDonald's my husband and I and my elderly parents. September 21st and I want to say around 1:00 p.m. and once again it was screwed up my husband ordered the Big Mac meal with no metal bun and I ordered the Big Mac meal with a Coke large size with extra eyes he also asked for a Coke. Their machine in the lobby for soda was down, when we got everything like I said his head no metal bun mine had onions even though I asked for no onions and extra pickles they put no pickles on it an extra onion. (We ordered at the counter with the guy because the kiosk does not accept cash) and my soda had very little eyes and my husband had zero ice. We walked up there to complain there was nobody up there however the manager was standing there handing out food yelling at the kitchen staff notices we were there said nothing to us the guy who took our order came over we explained it to him, and I swear on everything this man had to be related to a sloth he moved very slow he was not apologetic you could barely hear him you could tell he didn't give a crap about his job or his customers we got the Big Macback and I believe they just took out the middle bun and gave us the same Big Mac back and when I discussed my issue he straight up told me no you didn't you asked for extra onion no pickle excuse me sir but I believe I know what I want and I know what I said even the younger kids next to me whose meal was also messed up stated they were behind us and they heard what I ordered and I had told them extra pickle no onion. He grabbed the Big Mac from me and as he was walking away I said I want a fresh one you could hear him Mumble something and he threw that one in the trash. Once we got our sodas back my husband had probably six ice cubes and I probably had 10. I've had issues with this place before going through the drive-thru since there's two I sat there before and waited as three other cars gave their order in the other drive-thru I backed up past the guy if it was broken he said no he must have just forgot about the other one. Are you serious right now you want $15 plus an hour and you can't even smile when you're helping your customers you can't get the order right and you forgot about the other drive-thru. I have been going to this McDonald's since it openedbut it has gotten to where I would sit out and put a sign saying don't eat at this McDonald's if I have the time. Whoever the general manager is is horrible. Absolutely horrible male employees are apparently punching females in the face causing them to flee and refused to call 911. Every time I ask for the store manager they tell me they are on break out back I waited once and their so-called store manager who had to freshly be out of diapers which I don't believe was the general manager told me if I didn't like it I could go to a different McDonald's. Corporate you need to fix this McDonald's you need to send in secret shoppers or whatever you call it in the restaurant industry. You need to re-interview everybody who is there you need to teach them how to prioritize and use their time wisely they always have me pull around to the front and I wait no less than 15 minutes and they always go to the wrong car first. I honestly wouldn't have gone to this McDonald's that day but it is close to my parents house and like I said they are elderly. Add things do not change at this McDonald's I will take it upon myself to go as high up to the news to whoever I need to go to to make sure the changes happen here. I paid for the wrong order, the girl at drive thru only said a price so I didn't realize until I looked at the receipt once I got to the second window so I told the nice guy at pick up window what had happened and handed his receipt and change so he proceeded to tell the supervisor who was gone for several minutes came back with the exact same change and told him to give it to me. poor guy said I'm just doing what he asked me to, super confused myself I told him my issue was I only got two happy meals that I had not pay for and I got a free happy meal with my points. Therefore I got a total of three happy meals but only had to pay for two. I had to pay around $19 for two happy meals and the supervisor thought that that was average payment I guess but I told him my issue was I should have paid at least six dollars less so then he goes away again the supervisor and comes back with an extra dollar and some change and a receipt that wasn't mine but three made up happy meal orders I had told him before that I used my points that are now gone, 6000 of them for the free happy meal but obviously he didn't hear me or didn't care to resolve it correctly and make me look like the crazy lady who wanted a dollar more when indeed I should have gotten at least 7 back unfortunately I just decided to just leave because I already held up the line for a good 10 minutes. Super ridiculous. Would not recommend past 6 o'clock. Why have a points system if you won't honor them because your too lazy to look up the last order I'm assuming the guy behind me or ahead of me got three whole adult meals and got lucky and paid my two happy price, just mind blowing. Should have paid 12 max and paid 18....

Genuinely one of the worst McDonalds locations in the city. It may not look too bad from the outside, but the problems will absolutely hit you right in the face either when you walk inside or pull into the drive thru.

The customer service here is among the worst you will ever find in any service establishment with numerous employees that couldn’t care less about you and will act like you’re a bother when you need anything from them; the kids that work in the evening are especially the worst and have absolutely no respect for anything and will barely do the absolute minimum that the job entails (just look behind the counter at any moment to see how disastrous everything looks and how long it takes any of them to even pick up a broom or acknowledge a customer). It can’t be mentioned enough how long it takes to get the smallest of orders. Consider yourself lucky if you can place and get your order in less than half an hour.

Somehow, the management is even worse as they love to act high and mighty, yet they can barely manage to be competent themselves.

Other than the service, this place is completely filthy and looks disgusting at almost any minute of the day. The soda machine that has been “out of order” for months isn’t actually broken; they instead just keep it turned off to force you to get your drinks and refills from the counter (good luck actually getting a refill). Lastly, this place ALWAYS runs out of the most basic of items. Try going on any Friday and I guarantee they will either be out of either a particular sandwich, desserts, drinks, large cups, sauces, or even fries.
