I need to report an issue at the McDonald’s on 51st Ave and Baseline in Laveen, AZ . The manager, JONATHAN, completely ignored me when I was at the register ready to pay. His actions during my visit were not only unprofessional but also outright disrespectful.
He looked directly at me, ignored me, and walked away without a word AFTER putting money in the cash drawer in front of me as I am waiting to pay for my food. He then proceeded to stand by the area where the French fries are prepared and started texting on his phone. Another employee, noticing I hadn’t been helped, kindly stepped in and assisted me.
Jonathan’s behavior raises serious concerns. Either he believes his title as manager exempts him from serving paying customers, or there’s a deeper, more troubling issue of discrimination. His actions were dismissive and disrespectful, and they left me upset and disturbed. As a manager, he should be setting an example by providing excellent customer service, regardless of his position.
Jonathan’s attitude and lack of humility reflect poorly on McDonald's. Not only did he fail to fulfill a basic managerial responsibility—ensuring that all customers are served promptly—but his behavior also left other patrons visibly disgusted. This incident makes me question how the employees under his supervision are treated if this is how he regards customers.
McDonald’s reputation is built on serving customers with respect and professionalism, and Jonathan’s conduct goes against those values. A manager who cannot uphold the standards of service and humility should not be in a...
Read moreThis place is closest to where we live so I come here often. I can always grantee they are gonna leave something out. I usually check to make sure we have everything. But this time I was in a hurry. A Haboob was coming and was there when they brought out our order. It was super windy and dirt every where. We get home and they didn't give us buffalo sauce and the toys that went with the adult Happy Meals. No biggie you say but my older boys were looking forward to it. Just like I was because earlier in the day I got mine😊 Well after the storm calmed down I went back for the toys and the buffalo sauce. The manager there said something to me that upset me. She made it seem like I was not being honest about the toys. She explained to me they were out of buffalo sauce. I understood but I was not happy she assumed I was not being honest about the toys. She walks off returns with the toys and walks away. I'm standing there cuz I still need sauce. I get someone else's attention and ask if I can have bar b que instead. I dont usually care and I probably wouldn't have gone back for the toy. But that was one of the reasons we wanted to get the adult Happy Meal's. I don't know if its a big deal to give out the toy's but if so. Let's make sure they are in the boxes🤷 Anyways I would say this sort of ruined the 1st day experience of the adult happy...
Read moreMan I normally come to this location and it's never that bad. But wow, today was one of those "I have to leave a review" type of days. Get ready cause this is a long one. I walk in and yeah, it looks a little busy but I figure it shouldn't be that long.... needless to say, after 25 minutes and the lady being rude to me when I asked for my order. I asked to speak with the Manager and she replied (without even looking at me) "for what?" Uhmm, okay so I asked again, "can I just speak with a manager" to which she replied with, "what do you need" so I explained to her that it's been over 20 min and my order still isn't ready and I just want to know why. I was just trying to enjoy the rest of my day after work with my son and sister, so I didn't need to make a big deal about it, but I did want to understand what was happening. She got super defensive and just the way she was speaking to me showed me how little she could care about what was happening. I asked for her name (Theresa or Teresa) not to sure which and what her position was but she would not let me know. Instead I got "employee" as an answer and that she just "comes and goes." In the end, we decided to leave. It was just surprising how rude she reacted instead of realizing it could have simply been resolved but instead she chose to act...
