2/6/25: Short version - been there. Done that. Won't go again. Food was all right, the service was poor, & we could barely taste the vodka in our cocktails.
Long version - had a bad day at work & wanted a drink. Native Grill was close so we gave it a try. We walked in the door & stood around for about 3 min before someone made an appearance at the concierge desk. There was no sign anywhere to indicate if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for someone to help seat us.
We sat down w/ the menus, ended up waiting for about another five minutes before the concierge gal came back to ask if our server ever showed up. That would be a no.
When she did pop by our table, it was w/ a very "meh" attitude. I guess she was having a bad day, too. :-) We ordered everything at once: cocktails, water, appetizers, and meals. The drinks came first. After the first couple of sips of our cocktails, we both questioned whether they actually added the vodka -- and they tasted so similar we think we were given the same cocktail despite us ordering two separate drinks.
We both ordered burgers & neither of us were asked how we wanted them cooked. Everything came out together. Uh, hello, do you not understand the meaning of appetizer? There was no sauce with the zucchini fries & when asked if there was supposed to be she said yes (then why didn't you bring it?) & only then asked us if we wanted ranch or blue cheese. We said blue cheese but what she was brought we both agreed was ranch (unless blue cheese suddenly because a non-chunky dressing). Ha!
We also had to ask for silverware. Once the food was delivered to our table, our server went M.I.A. (to our table at least). She came out numerous times to assist other tables but never once came over to inquire how the food was or to check in or ask if we needed / wanted anything else.
When she finally did return, there was no "did you save room for dessert?", so we immediately asked for the check & take-home container because if we did not ask for both at the same time, we likely would have been waiting even longer for a return visit.
All in all, a subpar experience & there will be no return visit to...
Read moreOne of the worst pizzas I've had in a while. To put it into perspective, I eat a lot of pizza. I've eaten a pizza from almost every pizza restaurant, and have eaten just about every frozen pizza there is. This doesnt even match up to any of the frozen pizzas I've had, your best off sticking with your usual pizza place, its not worth even trying. Unless you like paper plate thick crust, with an uncooked mound of melted cheese on top. Imagine a thin crust pizza with too much cheese warmed up enough to melt the cheese, but not warm enough to COOK the pizza. You need two hands to eat it because it just collapses into a cheese pile.
Personal preference certainly has a role in a pizza, but ide like to think cooking the pizza is at least standard.
The pizza I got was just a melted cheese mess. Crust was thinner than paper, and the cheese was thicker than molasses.
For the love of decent pizza, thicken your crust and COOK it. If anyone wanted to eat a pile of goopy cheese, they wouldn't have ordered a pizza.
I've eaten pizza from more than a dozen restaurants, I never felt the need to leave a review on one until I had the unpleasntry of eating yours. This is not a rant, I could care less about reimbursement, this is an educational post as far as I'm concerned. Just please cook your pizza, ive never seen a pizza that floppy before. Thicken your crust to support your cheese mound, or add less cheese so you can...
Read moreOrdered at 5:05pm, got there at 5:20. Order said it would be ready at 5:23pm. I told the lady my name and she said it wasn't ready yet. I sat down to wait. 10 minutes goes by and she asks for my name again, goes to check my order and says they are finishing making it (this was a lie I found out later). 15 more minutes goes by and she comes around again and asks for my name one more time. I tell her and she pulls out an order I see that had been sitting in the food warmer case since I first walked in. My order was already done and sitting there while I waited 25 minutes for it. Since I knew that order had been sitting there the whole time I asked her why I was waiting for it and she told me it was because I gave her my last name instead of my first name. Turns out the last name on the tickets is cut off and she though my last name was supposed to be my first name. My last name doesn't sound anything like a first name by the way. And so when she went to the kitchen the first time to check on my order she obviously didn't ask them about it or got confused because the order was already cooked. When I got home my wings were cold and I had to reheat them. Terrible experience and it was my first time placing a to go order from the app. I probably won't make that mistake again... if I decide to go back....
