Let me start off by saying I absolutely love this place. The staff is always super friendly/helpful and the food here is top tier! I've never run into any problems here... Unfortunately, today was the strangest encounter I've ever had at any restaurant. I purchased the 39-inch pizza, ordered ahead of time due to a time crunch(family dinner). Once I got there, it was a bit busy and crowded. Which is understandable, so I stood there and waited for my order. Once it came out, it was never handed to me. Instead, it was given to a random couple(2 ladies) waiting at a table? From my perception, I was thinking "okay these ladies bought the same sized pizza". As the waitress was laying down my pizza, I recall her saying something but couldn't fully comprehend what was being said. From it being loud in there, from my understanding, it seemed like they needed more time? So unfortunately there wasn't any clarification on if it was my pizza order or not? Which to my surprise, it was indeed my $80 pizza order. The whole time I was being delayed for my family dinner party... Watching two complete strangers touch all over my order and even opening my pizza box just to have their fill on taking random pictures. I was never informed, nor did I agree? The waitress was nice, but she kept trying to resure me that somehow everything's fine? Even though it was very inconsiderate and made my experience an overall...
Read moreYou ever heard of a whole in the wall?? This place is the exact definition. Lets start with this place is in the most "sketchiest" circle K mini strip and is tucked quietly, almost secretly in the tiny corner. Its very small and when you walk in you will see what i mean. More than likely a lovely women named Margarita will greet you and she is part of the experience that is pizza a metro. (lovely would be an understatement) Now lets move onto the blazing wood fire oven cooking the amazing pizza thay awaits you. In front of the oven the dough is being rolled out right in front of you. The crakle of the fire, smells, confined atmosphere and the lovely Margarita moving from table, to kitchen, to pickup orders(one women show.) , makes for a truly unique experience. As they say, ive saved the best for last, the pizza!!!!!!! I dont want to spoil anything really but i do want to warn you that the largest size is well larger thank you would think. Its perfect for big families and in my opinion is insane value when you see the size of this thing. If you have small car transportation of said pizza maybe difficult. (Dead serious) To conclude this pizza is made with some amazing thin crust, premium toppings, ( sausage baby ) and copious amounts of love. Stop reading this review and just...
Read moreMargarita: My Oregon family has been to your restaurant a number a times. I’m the Italian from Boston. We were told you were there only Wednesdays and Thursdays. Too bad! I wanted to meet you. Food: The appetizer of toasted bread and relish was delightful. Different! But we like different. We ordered the veal as a starter. Fantastic! 6 of us shared. Truly wonderful. We then ordered the 36” pizza….half chez; half pepperoni. Another home run. For dessert: What Italian meal would not be complete without a cannoli. Piped when we ordered it as it should be. Very tasty! We also ordered a bottle of Chianti. Very very good! Some Chiantis can be overly dry. This one was not! Service was a bit sub par but okay. Not great but not bad. She tried! By the way: Dimitri is my pen name!
May 22, 2024: The family went to celebrate my wife’s birthday! Food: calamari, veal cannoli, chicken Marsala, linguine Bolognese, two pizzas and dessert. Could not have been better! Service: Margarita is the owner and she works the floor. When’s the last time you went to a restaurant where you were able to talk with the owner? And she is absolutely delightful. She cares and has a deep passion for her business ….and it shows. Again…just...
