I had a very bad experience at this place last sunday, i mean food was ok but our waitress needs a LOT of training, i never got her name but she was the only fat one, she made so many mistakes it was unbelievable, she took forever to let us know there was no marinade, it took her 45min to bring my shrimp cocktail which i know she forgot plus never brought us a tostada we ordered and she charged it in the bill..i tried to get her attention to fix the ticket , she totally ignored me i had to get up and go to the kitchen where she was at to let her know the mistake she made and i saw her looking videos with cook not worried at all about her tables it was crazy so i talked to another girl that was there because sheand asked her to let her know her mistake and when she brought our ticket again she didnt added the avocado again she made a mistake.i thought she took it off as a way of saying sorry but no she just forgot ..she had the guts to follow us in the parking lot to let us know she forgot to charge the avocado like omg you really follow customers to parking lot for a mistake you made?? Menu prices don't match the receipt. Then when you let them know to please fix the price to what was on the menu they gave you that you ordered from, they get mad and say they haven't had time to switch out the menus to the new prices. Well unfortunately that is not the customers fault and you should change your menus before you hand them out with incorrect information. I ordered a lime margarita and pointed to the happy hour menu that said was $5. When my check came out I was charged $11 so I told the server and she said I didn't tell her I wanted the happy hour one... I said I pointed to it directly on the menu! Then she tried saying I ordered it from someone else when she was the ONLY server there. They automatically add 18% even if you don't have "a party of 6 or more" which is stated on the menus. I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 5 years…and it is always amazing. But today, I had the best meal of my entire life. I don’t say this lightly…I’ve traveled throughout Mexico, Canada, USA, France, England, and China. The Paella I just had was the perfect dish. The peppers, onions & tomatoes were all perfectly cooked. The octopus, shrimp, conch, clams, and fish were also perfect. The rice was seasoned and perfectly cooked. This was the first dish I’ve ever experienced where I gorged myself, yet the last bite left me wanting more…even as I felt like I would burst. I’ve had many other perfect dishes here…and if there were ever a restaurant that deserved a Michelin star, it is this one. I have eaten at starred restaurants before…and this is better.
