I’m writing this review with the best of intentions and with the hope that Berry Divine revert their menu and offer nutrition facts for all items on their menu. I used to frequent the location off 16th St & Thomas, and always got my usual: a Volcano w/ Traditional Açaí filling. After not visiting this location for all of 2020, I ordered my usual again not suspecting anything different. When I got home and ate my bowl, I noticed it was incredibly sweet to the point that I only ate the fruit and granola and discarded the rest.
I later found out that this location only offers soft serve açaí filling, and no longer offers traditional. The cashier never corrected me or brought it to my attention while I was ordering. Soft serve has apple juice (hella sugar) and cane sugar (literal sugar). Fruit (naturally high in sugar) and granola are sweet enough all by themselves and I personally don’t think it’s necessary to add more sugar.
I rant to ask Berry Divine to bring back Traditional for customers who can’t intake large amounts of sugar or who are simply trying to be more health conscious. Maybe the decision was made b/c Covid restricted materials or was a good financial decision for the business. Also, being that many people assume that an açaí bowl is a healthy option, I think it would be helpful to list nutrition facts on your website. Some offerings are definitely more healthy than others, but you might be losing out on a demographic of healthy people who calorie count (for muscle gain or weight loss) and avoid Berry Divine b/c those facts aren’t available.
Anyway, hopefully this isn’t taken as an attack, but rather as a customer who doesn’t like change and honestly wants to continue giving Berry...
Read more“Horrible Energy – Employees Not the Epitome of Health While Serving It!” I walked in, there were two individuals working, and I hate to say this, but they did not embody the essence of health or good customer service, especially on an emotional level. No eye contact, no greeting—just complete silence, with only some muted background music playing. The energy inside was completely off!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked the individual behind the counter if they had smoothies, and without saying a word, she simply flipped over the laminated menu. That was it. It felt like I was being told, “Figure it out.”
For seven years, I owned three smoothie bars in Tucson, and we were five-star rated, with customer service being my number one priority. The vibe always had to match the product. In this case, the vibe was completely mismatched with what I hoped for.
Another thing that needs attention is the STRAWS. The individual who made my smoothie came from behind a wall, handed me the drink, and didn’t say a single word. She didn’t even thank me. To top it off, the tiny straw she gave me fell inside the container, making it impossible to reach the bottom and sip effectively. Not only that, the straw cracked because it was brittle and dry, and it was designed for soda, not a thick smoothie. Just common sense and attention to customer experience needed here.
I really think the owner needs to get involved. Unfortunately, due to the lack of warmth, service, and overall experience, I will...
Read moreWARNING: If you're considering this place for a healthy meal, I'd think again. The menu is sorely lacking in any real healthy, vegetable-based options. Worse yet, the service is seriously lacking. Upon entering, we were greeted not with a welcome but with a cold "We close at 6, and I'll try to get to you" from the staff. It quickly became clear that this wasn't just an offhand comment. Despite being early in line, we were explicitly told our smoothie order would be processed last, after everyone else's—even those who arrived after us. This wasn't just an idle warning; she proceeded to take and fulfill every other order before ours, leaving us waiting an unjustifiable 30 minutes for a single smoothie. This level of service was not only inefficient but also felt pointedly dismissive. So, a fair warning: if you value respectful treatment and efficient service, this establishment...
