Romero's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

You are missing out of you don't stop and try the food here. I have stopped here 4 times in the last 2 weeks, the green chili burrito was huge and very flavorful. Also had the fish taco's and the chicken enchiladas, both were great, hard to pick a favorite. The Chorizo burrito was very good and it was huge. If you are going to Garcias, do yourself a favor and eat at Romero's, it's right around the corner from Garcias on 42nd Ave and West Thomas. This is my go to now, to get my Mexican food fix. Also this is a family owned restaurant, the two brothers and Dad are very good folks Plus one brother just got out of the service and I try to support veteran...

Its okay. Their burrito size is better than taco mich but not the same quality. They don't marinate their Carne asada that's why.

I order the surf and turf burrito, steak and shrimp/camarron and it comes out so pricy for no reason like $15. They should adjust the price to like $10 since the regular steak burrito is $7 or $8.

They don't even put a decent amount of shrimp in the burrito most of the time.

They put like 3 somtimes or 4 pieces of shrimps when it should at least be 8 shrimps like a normal size.

You have to tell them when you order to be sure not to be stingy with the shrimp portion since you're paying for 2...

It was our second time here tonight and the first time we came here we had the carne asada burrito it was good and fresh and tonight we wanted something sweet so we tried the aroz con leche the churros and a horchata and it was very delicious and definitely hit the spot the service was top tier such phenomenal service from the guys working when you walk in here they are very welcoming and friendly the kind of customer service you don't see anymore I as a customer really appreciate this type of service and establishment
