Avoid Sir VESA at Sky Harbor Gate C18 - Utterly Disrespectful! I was told Sir VESA at Sky Harbor's Southwest gate C18 was a decent spot for a quick bite before a flight. What a colossal mistake. While the food was...passable, the customer service, specifically from one staff member, was so shockingly bad it warrants a complete avoidance of this establishment. Apparently, closing time trumps customer experience here. This individual was so eager to leave that she began shutting down the restaurant while patrons were still eating and drinking. Let me paint a picture for you: * She started spraying cleaning chemicals around my open beer. Yes, you read that right. * Then, she proceeded to park a massive, overflowing trash cart directly in front of me, effectively blocking my view and my space. * Finally, to add insult to injury, she began mopping the floor around my feet and luggage as I waited for my 8:30 boarding call. I've never felt so unwelcome or disrespected in a restaurant. The blatant disregard for customers was astounding. If you're looking for a relaxing pre-flight meal or drink, especially after a long day of travel, steer clear of Sir VESA. This place will absolutely kill your vibe. One star is far too generous.

Diego let my food die in the window right in front of my eyes because he was more worried about getting his tip. He was taking an order, my food already sitting there, totally fine, then while she goes to pay Diego turns around closes the box of my order (no other order coming with it, he even looked on the ticket) then turned back around to collect the receipt and put in his stack. Then after that he grabs it and hands it to me, who is standing right straight in front of the order pickup. Took a bite out of my tacos and they are cold. Why even turn around and close the lid if you aren’t going to hand it to me while I’m standing right there? And I tipped 20% if I could I’d go back and take back my $2.79 I feel like it was so vindictive. Sit Vezas, check on your customer service.

The first thing that attracted me to this place was the name, clever way to get my attention. Then i saw the decor and I decided to give them a try. Ordered the Carne asada bowl which was a good portion! I found the rice to be hard and bland. I expected the meat to burst with flavor, wrong expectation. The order of fries was a substantial size! Overall good for airport food and the ambience helped me get through my wait time.

It depends on the day as to what you get. We came through on Monday, 1/30 and enjoyed it so much we decided to go again when we came through today 2/3. It was a completely different experience. We sat at the bar both times. The female bartender on Monday was great! She took our cc so we could just sit and enjoy. She got us our food and drinks. She ran around a lot helping ring in non bar guests because they were busy but still attentive. Today we sat down and it was less than stellar service. We ordered exactly the same thing but when he brought us our beers he shoved the credit card scanner at us. I understand not wanting walk outs, but I can assure you we didn’t buy anything else while we were there. He got us beers and then we were paged to pick up our food. He stood behind the refrigerated cases and only came over when someone new walked up. I would hesitate going in my next time...

Being the only place near our gate we saw tacos and hoped for the best! We got a taco salad, guacamole and chips. I'm pretty sure nothing gets cooked here. Guacamole is super bland. The chicken was flavorful but that's about it. They put our tortilla on the side to make it gluten free for someone I shared with and it was literally fried to death at some point and cold, deeming it inedible. We asked for no sour cream in the salad and it looked like the scoop of sour cream was scooped out to make this happen. Again leading me to believe nothing is actually cooked here. The salsa was also gross that came in prepackaged. We ate as much as we could (if we would have eaten more we would've gotten sick) but will go on our next flight (7hrs) pretty hungry unfortunately. The chips for chips and guac were also...
