Sushi Mocorito Lonchera — Restaurant in Phoenix

The food was okay. I got the breaded shrimp tacos and they were okay. They’re the typical Guerrero or Mission tortillas. I also ordered the “Crujiente roll” and it was also okay. It has a bit of a sweet taste which makes it flavorful. The rice as a bit mushy for me, (I like the rice grain to be seen a bit and it not look ‘mushy’” on breaded sushi. Personally, it was not omg the greatest(I have actually had better sushi in the valley) but it was good. If you order there expect a wait time. It seemed like people were ordering ahead. They have a limited selection of sodas. It is cash only so make sure you take cash. It was not my all time favorite but would definitely go back if I’m really really craving sushi and can’t get to all time...

My Dad recommended I try this place and he advised us what to order as well. I had never had sushi before and I genuinely enjoyed it here my dad did let me know the difference between fried sushi and raw, I liked this one I included a picture of the plate we ordered and Absolutely everything was DELICIOUS! We did get everything freshly made there but the drive home was about 20 ish minutes and the food was still good when we arrived home to eat with family. All in all food was great , I sadly was not the one that ordered so I cannot say anything about the service in regards to the workers there but I did catch a glimpse of a “Cash ONLY sign” so...

Very, very good fast and friendly!!! Have to change my review the was good but the price and food don't go. You use to get a whole pepper now you get a half of a pepper. Disappointing the pepper takes it up a notch. Trying to take little bites of the pepper is disappointing. If you don't have enough pepper for the day why serve it. The shrimp needed a diaper change. Very upsetting!!! Should have the same quality of food everyday. My sides looked like they were running out of food and the crazy part about it they just open for the day a hour before I got there.
