First, I want to preface this review by stating that I had a previous issue with an order being canceled a couple days ago due to the restaurant being “closed” as stated by my driver when he reached out to me. I decided to let that one go, however I can’t let this one go unfortunately.
I decided to place another order this time for pick up to avoid this another mishap and just pick up the food myself. I was sorely mistaken as this was even more inconvenient when I came to do pick up. When I arrived I entered the drive thru which already had cars in it have the gentleman my name and informed him I was picking up MY order that was placed on uber eats. He quickly answered that uber eats and DoorDash needed to pick up inside. This DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE as they are a business with a drive thru which stays open beyond the hours of the lobby and then ALL orders need to picked up through the drive through. Regardless of this the order I had was MY OWN ORDER I stated to the gentleman THREE TIMES so there was absolutely no misunderstanding as to what I was explaining to him. He clearly understood, but chose to inconvenience me by ignoring me at the window and not acknowledging me at all. So he declined to give me my order, made me wait behind other cars and pull into the road. Yes the road, as this locations drive through does not connect to any parking areas. You then have to drive around and make a U turn and then drive back towards the restaurant to pull in once again. I am absolutely baffled as to why the employees choose so abruptly to inconvenience guests instead of just handing them the order that they paid for. It only gets worse from here. When I enter the building I get no acknowledgment whatsoever, they all see me at the counter, but they all chose to ignore me. The thing that really gets me is they know that I am already coming in for the order (because they turned me away and I was driving all around Thunderbird to get back into the parking lot to park) yet my order was NOT STARTED AT ALL! I said that right, my order was not started it was only when the guy was yelling “where’s the DoorDash order!” To the the two people on the line that it was started. I had been waiting for several minutes at this time when they stated it. They chose not to prioritize this order and continued to make other orders instead of mine as a couple cars placed orders and got their food. By the time I received my food I had been waiting nearly 20 minutes for this order not to mention the 10-15 I had been in the drive through and then the time it took to drive back around to park and come inside. The asked to speak to the manager and the gentleman who took my order. He was “confused” about procedure or something and he apologized for not knowing that it was a pick up order and if they could give them out or not, this is absolutely untrue and was done with purpose because I made it very clear that I was picking up my own order and I specified that THREE TIMES! both Sam and Jackie( the gm) apologized which I greatly appreciate, however the damage was already done and this had turned into one of the worst experiences I have ever had… until I left with my food and checked that there was the green salsa missing. I go back in and the same thing happened. No acknowledgment nothing. I then get the attention of the line cook and say they forgot my green sauce… he apparently didn’t hear me and misunderstood that I wanted a refund but at this point yes I would like a refund for the trouble as the food was also disgusting the only thing I barely ate was the Mexican pizza as the two cantina items had the oldest, driest, and seriously health hazard chicken I have ever seen. The manger offered me two measly taco coupons for this whole ordeal, but at this point I want a full refund. This is disgraceful and appalling! Do...
Read moreCalled up to the store to speak to the manager in charge about my food quality and order being messed up. He seemed not to care, his name is Cesar and obviously should not be running a store or his own shift at this point. If you cannot be empathetic and you cannot show genuine compassion and do it with a smile over the phone and you’re a manager in food service then you need to look for work elsewhere. Into the area coach and the general manager of the store if this is the type of quality leader you were looking for and maybe someone should help you with your candidacy program and help you screen your interviewees. I also can’t believe that you would leave this individual in charge of your store was such a blatant disrespect for customers and a horrible attitude to boot. This is the fifth time I have been to this location over the past year and I have had multiple problems with the food service the quality the food accuracy the order accuracy the order taker and the speed of service. Lord I don’t know where all of the service has gone where has all the level of quality customer service gone in the fast/food industry or in visiting Walmart it just doesn’t matter anymore people just don’t care. I have been working in the food service industry for 28 years, my family has owned restaurants as well as a food truck; this is highly disappointing to see the level and quality of the service that we received for the money that we pay has gone down over the years in this industry and continues to go down only to be followed by the poor quality people that people seem to hire. At this point I don’t know if I’ll be visiting this location ever again and it really ruin the taste for Taco Bell in my mouth the sad part for me as I spend my dollars and the value of them where I feel fit I also know that Taco Bell is part of young brands which is part of Pizza Hut and Petco or Pepsi nation so it really upsets me that I have to view the overall company this way because I am a company man and I’ve been working the QSR and Full service restaurant business for years. What a terrible experience and what a horrible way to feel over dinner thank...
Read moreThis location has terrible service. I mean horrible; I shall explain why. A few weeks ago, I experienced bad service, I had to return TWICE from my home, after sitting on our dinner table, as they had missed a few food items to my order. I trusted the first trip back, would’ve corrected my order, but I had to return again! In compensation of such experience, I received 7 coupons for tacos.
So here we are tonight, looking to use our coupons for dinner with my two little girls and wife.. my oldest girl, had just finished soccer practice and did amazing so we allowed her to request our dinner, she decided on Taco Bell. We go through drive-thru, submitted our order, and advised the cashier we had these coupons ahead of time.
I present these coupons at the drive-thru window, and the cashier comes back to tell me I can only use one at a time. I would have to go around the drive-thru lane SEVEN times to redeem them. I’m already here, I requested to separate the transaction if this was the case. I was denied and in fact told that there were other people behind me. I explained, I had also waited in line, in the time it took for you to tell me to go around 7 times or deny my request to separate transactions, we could’ve resolved this challenge instead. I was treated poorly, I became frustrated and disappointed that my family and I had to go through this ordeal once again, at same location that I explained to them; the reason I had these coupons to begin with was because of this “sh!tty service, you can cancel my ENTIRE order, and shove the coupons up your a$$e$!!” I am embarrassed that your restaurant made me succumb to such words, it’s dinner with my family. I drove off and decided to go to chik-fil-a instead.. which as always, was received with happy friendly service. I will not be going to this Taco Bell for a long time. Zero stars if it...
