The Stone Collection - Phoenix — Local services in Phoenix

The "collection" shown online does not match the inventory! You have to check each slab to see if it is in the inventory. The inventory "sheets" are only available by going in person to the warehouse.

The slabs aren't very well organized by material. We were interested in a specific type and were told we would have to search row by row to locate these slabs, hidden within all the other slabs.

We spent about 2 hours trying fruitlessly to find 3 specific slabs that we had looked at online. As they were about to close, we were told that MANY customers never find ANYTHING!

We were also lectured that we should use a different material. When I mentioned the issues I had read about those other choices, I was scoffed at. I don't want today's equivalent of "formica", something that is pervasive and performs poorly. I wanted the type of material that would work best for our needs!

Then after asking about the specific slabs that we were seeking, only one type is actually in Phoenix. The other slabs would have to be shipped from other locations in Texas or Utah!

While the employees seemed nice, I got the impression that we were a big joke to them. They see customers struggle with the search process everyday.

I certainly am not interested in touring their inventory again. I would caution anyone asking my advice to thoroughly check online or make phone calls because the in-person...

We got there about 45 minutes before closing and staff took us out to look at the product. During the time looking at the product, sales rep recommended that we only look at certain stone products because others may not be affordable for us without knowing our situation. In addition, about 15 minutes before closing the fans were turned off and lights flickered as a hint to leave. We did leave the warehouse with products we were interested in and hoping to get the information from the sales rep regarding pricing and installation estimates, but the sales rep did not give us the opportunity to schedule an appointment and instead the warehouse employee had the door open for us to leave and his truck running. Wow! Wow! Wow! I came here to pick up some samples for my daughter who is an interior designer and was just beside myself! I asked if I could look around a bit since I had not been here before and was I ever in for a treat! Now mind you, I love rocks, stones and jewels, plus I am in the process of building my own home. This place was huge and the selection of granite, marble and even precious stone was amazing!
