I can't speak to the quality of their food because I ended up leaving without completing my order. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, so the two stars take those 2 factors into account, or it would be a 1-star.
What happened: I brought my service dog (who is fully trained and compliant as a service animal under Title II and Title III of the ADA) into the restaurant to get a water and a slice of pizza. I attempted to order at the counter. An older employee (he was thin, white, roughly 5 foot 10 inches with facial hair, 40s-50s in age and if memory serves me he was wearing glasses) said that I could not eat inside of the building, that I had to eat outside because of my dog. I quoted Title III and informed him that she was a service animal. He requested documentation. I informed him I was not required to provide that and quoted the ADA again. He told me it was the restaurant owner's policy and that it was a line in the sand. When it became obvious it was a losing battle after the gentleman repeatedly insisted there was nothing he could do, I left without completing my order. The man was not rude about it, but he did not comply with the law.
If it truly is the owner's "policy," both the owner and the employees are not in compliance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
I filed a complaint with the Department of Justice and will update this review once their investigation is complete.
Please properly train your employees on legal compliance so no other customer or potential customer experiences the embarrassment and inconvenience that I did. I believe in you guys!

Read moreI’m leaving the stars for the food. They have great food and it’s my sons favorite pizza. Most of the servers are great, always pleasant and courteous. I am a server, I know how it is, and I always give people the benefit of the doubt in this industry. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. When it comes to the manager or owner, older guy, Wears a Bluetooth headset a lot, he could not be more rude if he tried and everyday is a bad day for him. Every single time I have had an interaction with him, I’ve left upset. Even his employees have made comments apologizing for his behavior three different times we have been there. I continue going bc the food is great & my son picks it. The red gravy for their pasta is really good and their pizza is great. Thank goodness that guy is barely there, otherwise my son would have to find a different...
Read moreHidden gem in Phoenixville! Great little BYOB Bistro! I have now dined in twice in the last two months. Born and raised in Phoenixville I always had my favorite pizza sandwich shop so I never felt the need to check out Pats. I didn’t even know they just updated the menu and renovated the space. Brick oven pizza was great! Wings are great! Pasta entrees served in cute cast iron skillets and are great. Eggplant Parm and lasagna with homemade pasta! Chicken Cheesesteak with garlic aioli was a very nice surprise and didn’t disappoint! Not getting into prices because I am a firm believer if you want nice things in a nice environment with very friendly people it may cost a little more, I’m ok with that. I really hope this place can survive because it really is nice having it in...
