I haven't been to this place in a few years, I used to go all the time and it was delicious. I stopped in for lunch today with a friend and honestly the food quality is so bad. I will say the service was incredible, the servers were very nice and attentive and sweet. And they were very quick to fix things that were beyond of their control. We ordered an appetizer and they were still a little frozen in the middle. The servers took it back right away, and brought us another plate.
The Thai Coffee was really bad, it tasted like tobacco. The server brought me more cream which helped a bit but it still tasted... off. I got the Pad See Ew which at first seemed just fine but as I was eating it, there were really cold spots, like they used frozen broccoli but didn't cook it all the way? My friend got Pad Thai, but hers came with a lemon wedge which was weird- and she said it didn't have much flavor.
This place has so much potential to be as good as it used to be- but whoever is in the kitchen really needs to start timing things or taking internal temp of their dishes, and really needs to use more seasoning and traditional flavors because all of it tastes very bland. Again- the servers were absolute sweet hearts and the restaurant itself is very cozy and...
Read moreThe second I walked into the restaurant, the aroma of the food hit my nose and it smelt amazing. I had to wait almost no time to be seated and our waiters were super friendly and helpful. My mom is vegan, so I asked the waiter to make all of her dishes vegan, and the waiter was very helpful and told us what dishes they could and couldn't make vegan, without even looking at a sheet or anything. The waiters were super knowledgeable and would almost read my mind when I needed something. The food though, the food was something else. I got the Taste of Thailand so it had a lot of the main appetizers on the menu there, they were all spectacular. I got the chicken Pad Thai, it is definitely the best Pad Thai in the area, and I would come back again. The atmosphere was amazing, so many Thai decorations and beautiful plants that you can tell are taken care of daily. Overall, I would come back here again, I'd say if anyone wants an amazing Thai experience whether its you're first time eating Thai, or you eat it all the time, I can guarantee quality service and...
Read moreA co-worker recommended this to us a while ago when we were traveling for work. We go to Phoenixville a lot, but this is a little ways off of the main strip on Bridge Street so it took us a while to get here.
We came with a group and shared a bunch of things. We started with the Taro appetizer. Everyone loved this. I haven't had anything like it before, but I would definitely get it again.
For entrees, we shared the Duck Massamun Curry, the Beef Pad Se Ew, and the Chicken (I think?) Basil Fried Rice.
I think the Basil Fried Rice was my favorite. It was spicy and had a sauce on it that I wasn't used to with Basil Fried Rice. There wasn't much basil though.
The Pad Se Ew was also really good. I wish it had been spicier though. There was no spice at all. The Massamun Curry was just ok. It didn't have enough flavor in my opinion.
We got Taro Sticky Rice for dessert which was good. The consistency of the rice seemed a little off to me compared to mango sticky rice I've had elsewhere, but I still liked it.
This is a solid place to come...
